i watched new moon this weekend for the simple fact that i was wondering what the big deal was. i honestly think that the media is trying to play into little girls fantasies about having 2 men fight over them. they just added all the supernatural stuff to make it so called "interesting".. well there is my analytical opinion LMAO!

i agree with you. if i see something that looks interesting, a movie or book... i read the back... it's sounding really interesting so far... oh wait, the word "vampire" or "blood sucker" pops in and i'm like oh hell no and i put that shit down. vampire books? never. movies, maybe. i liked queen of the damned! but i wont read anne rice. i might watch twilight just for curiousity someday. and tv shows? nahh im good. id rather watch people get lost on an island over and over
oh lord here we go. I totally get the annoyance in the vampire movement, I really do, bc I'm actually a major horror movie fan and I loved the undead (vampires, zombies) way before it gained popularity. I'm happy it's popular simply bc I get more of it in shows, movies and books. I can go on for days on why vampires are sexy, but it won't fit here. It doesn't have to doing with blood though.

Haha, I admittedly like Twilight (although I don't think it is the greatest work of literature, just something that's easy, quick to read and there are a LOT of better books out there = Anne Rice). But I have been into that whole genre for years and years, since I was little and before it ever became this mainstream. I mean, the X-Files is my favorite show. I do understand not everyone loves it, and don't get offended when they don't. To each his own
