@DarianHarman if they didn’t slow down the 3D characters and make the animations too smooth, then it could be really be an awesome thing. don’t get me wrong, i love old mega man.. i beat 1 and 2-5 for the NES on challenge ;). It sounds like a dream to me.

Hmmm, I've always felt that it was worthy of the volume of praise it received, simply because I can relate to the nostalgia that we all must have for it. But I've always liked MM3 more, myself.
MM4 was the only MM game I was able to beat in one sitting on the first try. (at that point in time) I didn't hate it, though. I actually loved it. Building lives on Skullman's stage from this magical respawn point was so broken. As weird as it sounds, I don't go back and replay ANY MM games anymore. The only thing I'll always go back and play is Contra, SuperC, Contra III, Shattered Soldier, and shooters. MM bores the shit out of me now. lol
@DarianHarman I useually don't replay through either; unless it's a Fire Emblem game or Evergrace. <3 Evergrace.
But you can't beat that feeling when you put in an old NES game. Modern games are far too concentrated on graphics, in my opinion. Not in the actual gameplay. Though; Twilight Princess wasn't bad. I wouldn't object if Nintendo opened their vault and remade older games with new graphics. Metroid would be the first one I'd buy. 83
@goluigi10 I'll replay any contra, almost any shooter (Ikaruga, R-Type Delta, etc), fucking Punchout, Faxanadu, Xexyz, Tomb Raider 1, 2 and 4, and of course Suikoden 1 and 2. Pretty much every other video game can kiss my ass. I'd rather play 10 hours of Excitebike than like 1 hour of 90% of what comes out nowadays. Though, Demons' Souls looks fantastically frustrating, and I must say I AM VERY EXCITED about The Last Guardian. If they remade Faxanadu, though, omfg. I'd do the soundtrack!
