When I first saw this when I was younger I knew they were building up to the "reveal" to the viewers. Knowing how scary this show makes anything appear, I remember closing my eyes without peaking just about when she showed her face. I still remember that there was loud and scary music to go along with it, so glad I still haven't seen her face yet. Oh, and this show is certainly underrated. Tales from The Crypt and TZ couldn't scare me as much as this show did every freakin' week!

I can see how this could be fact. The woman this is based on could have had body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). People with it look normal, but see a hideous beast in the mirror and in extreme cases, refuse to leave their homes or carry on relationships because of how ugly they think they are.
