What a G R E A T 80's song. Really reminds me of highschool and that first crush. Everything was soooo important when it came to love back then. Your first highschool crush on a girl was just everything and then you heard a song like this and confirmed that your first crush was EVERYTHING. I was a hardcore rocker who went nuts for newwave. Got this on vinyl & really loved it. Then saw the boys in an interview talking about using an actual string section & 15 piece orchestra for the album. Mad props & respect for going to the trouble! This album has held up, still every bit as good as it was then, if not better! Romantic, classy, well arranged, original, everything that the crap the radio & mtv being forced on us ISN'T! Lady Gagme et al need to check this stuff out, or better-quit!

I read somewhere that in the 80"s Producers of James Bond had asked ABC to write a Title song for Bond, but sadly they were too busy and declined the offer! later i had read they regretted that it went to Duran Duran, later AH HA did a Bond Title again ABC was shut out maybe snub

I was filled with excitement and felt my world was at my feet...this song's music, ,,, it just echoed my feelings at the time - it's one of those songs that would be called a 'drive' song,, meaning, it's what you should have playing when your driving.
