Caught Boney James at the Freihofer Jazz Festival this weekend, in Saratoga New York. The 75 Minutes he played was not long enough. Audience was mezmerized by his smooth tunes and seductive style. What a GREAT Sax Player, MY NEW FAVORITE!!!!!!!

In its early years, CD 101.9 featured great contemporary jazz, playing the Rippingtons, Lee Ritenour, Acoustic Alchemy, Boney James, Hiram Bullock, David Sanborn etc. Then later, they suddenly mixed in too much old 70's R&B like Stevie Wonder, which made it seem more like an R&B oldies station.

This is "Metropolis", track 9 (last track) off of boney james's first album entitled "Trust" (released in 1994). excellent album, and we would definitely appreciate the rest of this song. it's amazing!
