@yamcy23 because in Korea, their names are supposed to be 3 syllabus. But because snsd are idols, to make their names more feminine, they changed their names. When they changed their name, it is called stage name which means they are called by their stage name by their fans... When they are called by their real name, they get embarrassed because they are not used to it... Hope it helps
