This is one of the most powerful pieces in Advent Children. The thought of Rufus, a man who once had the world in his hand, being looked down upon by a remnant of Jenova just makes it even better.

@angelpooz This is a "sequel movie" to the videogame Final Fantasy 7. There are also several prequel games to FF7 such as Crisis Core and even a sequel videogame called Dirge of Cerberus. Unfortunately, this is the only movie released so far with the FF7 tag on it. There's a Final Fantasy movie, but I recommend not seeing it.

I really want Umatsu to start composing for more films. The Advent Children soundtrack was really phenominal. The variety of the tracks and how he mixed classical ochestration with more modern influences really impressed me. This piece in paricular is perhaps my favorite. I actually used it in a student film of mine.
