Well, this certainly is a sticky situation. However, the state of Vermont did not file charges even though in today's court it could have been argued that the operator was driving under impairment from a medical condition. If the operator was groggy and unresponsive, then it would be considered his judgement and reaction time would be delayed while operating the motor vehicle. I do agree with the post from rcpdc77, a lot of people were put at risk because this person chose to continue driving

the states guy says that you have to take it from the perspective of the officers at the time, haaaaa @!! i know that if it were me as a cop there at that scene, a GROGGY AND UNRESPONSIVE person sitting still behind the wheel at that point would be soo scary that it would warrant a bloody face, broken arm, and being kicked. this shit is crazy, the police can do anything they want now, and can get away with it. once the car was stopped, he presented no danger at all. look up ALEX JONES @!

And now instead of taking responsibility for it your going after the cops and trying to make them look bad to take the attention off yourself. The cops reacted that way because you put civilians and their lives in danger. So yeah they aren't going to ask you to politely get out of the car. A vehicle is considered a deadly weapon when they are in the situation you were in.
