What did you record with?

I used a command that's in the game. Type cl_capturevideo 1 in the console and it will start recording. cl_capturevideo 0 to stop recording.

I recommend only recording a demo, not the actual gameplay because then the video will lag. you can put the autorecord demos option on somewhere in the multiplayer section where the server list and demo section are.

Good luck getting them working. They'll be in the format .ogv which is higher quality than .avi (most of the time)

You can also bind a key to record more easily. for example you could write this into the console: bind n cl_capturevideo 1 and bind m cl_capturevideo 0

That'll make it easier to record than having to write that every time and it makes it smoother.

Hm, the creators loose cash? I thought they just make the client, and players make the servers, that's why theres the server list and stuff. Do you know if that's right?
