Awesome sound on the Kurzweil!!!

I've got a Korg Trinity and would like to connect it up via MIDI to my computer for sequencing. I see there's USB to MIDI cables that allegedly require no software installation. Is that what everyone else uses?

Any pitfalls for me to avoid, and any suggestion on some Windows based software to sequence and edit would be gratefully received.

@LAnonHubbard well for the interfase i've got a basic M-audio 1x1 and it does the job. For software, personally I am a huge fan of SONAR, i've been using it since it was cakewalk, back in the nineties. It is easy to use and it has some great virtual synths. And you can connect (virtually) it to REASON, so you will be able to do almost everything. check some videos of the 8.5 version here in youtube

@chupsiq Thanks for your response. I have purchased a cheaper cable from eBay and I've read they some people have issues (latency and missing notes) so will see when it gets delivered. If so, I'll follow your recommendatin out an M-audio 1x1.

Thanks for the software mention. I had heard of Cakewalk but think it might be pricey (for my current needs). I hadn't heard of REASON but am reading about it now...
