He has yet had to really defend his record yet, as he has had a free pass to run without the bulls eye of the media cross hairs on his back as they have been on Romney. Romney is the one prepared and ready lead as an executive and the only remaining candidate to not have worked a day in Washington. Santorum was a lobbyist, then a congressman, then a senator, then a "consultant" in Washington. He is really good at talking the talk, like any career politician.
