I have the diesel eco, just over 60 average mpg on short trips, an excellent car for economy. I was told that I could tow (a rib boat) with this car, untrue as I found out when I went to have a tow bar fitted. Now ordered a Skoda Yeti, excellent specs and value but of course not as economical.
In fact Fiesta emits less CO2 than the engine from Ford Ka (a smaller hatchback) that also claims to be an environmental friendly. The econetic version of Fiesta can actually produce as low as 98g/km of CO2 emission which is lower than the 112g/km of CO2 emission with a smaller engine capacity from Ford Ka.

Wow, can you imagine what a jeep or a hummer will do to this thing in a crash? Looks like a beer can on wheels. Can you imagine the battery dying on this thing while on the interstate in the left lane late at night? I guess that is where the real global warming saving will come in. All those dead people who drive one of these jokes will no longer produce methane gas when they open their mouths and fart. Wake up people... global warming is a farce.
you're right. Taking your thinking a step further I'm going to design a truck twice the size of a hummer(with half the gas mileage), so that if I ever run into a hummer I'll just drive over them. You'll die if you don't get the biggest, so go bigger, and bigger. I don't care that we are at war for my stupid big gas guzzler, or care when some little shit in a feista gets smashed by one of my buddies in his hummer.
This is a sharp vehicle, aesthetically. I don't understand why Ford and the other American auto makers don't promote diesel fueled vehicles. It's not the same technology as it once was, even just 20 years ago. I would absolutely purchase this vehicle if it were an option in the U.S.
Technology Available to everyone eles except USA. When will the big three get there heads out of there asses and allow the econetic technology into the USA, the cars is coming here thank GOD but I bet we won't get any Diesel versions. Lets go allready what are you waiting for?
