Are those authentic Sandley coaches, or did you folks build them from scratch?

Those coaches where built in house, from scratch. They are larger then Sandley coaches.

That's what I thought....I just realized that you are a different gauge than Sandley. Just goes to show how great of work you folks are obviously capable of doing.
It there a substacial difference in 15" and 16"?

No substancial difference in the gauges. Equipment runs the same and the equipment is pretty much the same except for the track gauge.
