I kind of wish I had been in the AUMB while i was a student here. I'm graduating in August though. I used to play the trumpet in junior high and have been wanting to pick it up again. Oh well, maybe I'll be back at AU for grad school and can be in the band. At least the pep band. WAR EAGLE!!!

So we can confuse everyone not in the Auburn family. Makes a nice conversation piece for everyone else.
The eagle led Auburn to victory over UGA the first game in that series, so it became a battle cry. Before Nova became the mascot, the Eagle's name was Tiger. Then we have Aubie to be cute, funny, and a terrific dancer.

I just have to agree with Carycomic about the band as an AU Band alum, and it doesn't take a brain to figure that one out about the majorettes!

Of course, their head coach had to cheat at the end of the first half in order to insure it. :P
On the upside? CBS showed the Auburn Marching Tigers performing at half-time! And, that shot of Santa Claus at the start of the third quarter? Priceless! Although, I do have to admit: it made me a little bit jealous of him. ;-D

Why do Auburn people yell "WAR EAGLE" when they are the Tigers? Shouldn't it be some sort of a growl?
