  • That is an "apathetic" video. =p

  • This video went viral on Tokyo

  • 0bama can't fight.... he too busy sucking Allah's 1200 foot cock

    ....just wait til 2012 Dems....

It's going to be a extemely bad year for you....

unless you repeal 0bamacare and tell 0bama not to run for re-election

.....the economy would recover if he just gave a speech saying he resigns and will not be seeking re-election. and the whole world will rejoice

  • WE NEED TO ELECT A LIBERAL DEMOCRAT PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE AS JFK

  • IT IS TIME TO PUSH BACK VERY HARD AS DEMOCRATS. WE PRESSURE OBAMA AND DEMOCRATIC POLITICIANS. IF WE DON'T DO IT, WHO WOULD?

ANY POLITICIAN WOULD DO SOMETHING WHEN THEY ARE AWARE TO LOSE THEIR JOB. WE NEED TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

  • "I think ehm... wee need to bring about change.. and ehm... its important to adress the issues... for change so ehm... if we adress these issues.... the change... will come because ehm... the issues...."

    -Obama

  • Obama takes $40billion dollars from social security.. You work for GE or Daves bake shop they tax deduct your money calling Social Security Union Tax. Dave sets on Welfare and you work. Dave lauges while he calls you a scab. You paid nothing. A federal workers own child is a excuse for govt. to deposit large sums of money in social security to make it strong as McDonalds called it a loss on the W2 form. Where is the $40billion. Obama has got this in the bag. politics did not pay

  • It's funny. About a year ago or so, I told a friend of mine that though I liked Obama, you never got the feeling that there was any real fervor of desire to stand by his convictions. Everything he seemed to do was half-assed. This video only reaffirms that position. Obama might be more comfortable back teaching in Chicago, with a blackboard and chalk.

  • THE CAKE IS A LIE

  • Weiner,Grayson and Kucinich caved on this corporate health-care bill. I wouldn't vote for them neither in the next primaries. Im voting for Nadar if he runs. He has a real record for consumer rights and helping the American people.

  • The only thing I get from President Obama & the DNC is Propaganda letters thanking me for having supported him in the past & a choice of which box I'd care to check: The $25 box; The $50 box; The $100 box; The $250. box and the "other amount" box. The Obama Democrats act like political diabetics and we're there to supply the monetary insulin that must be administered. If Obama & Dem's don't excercise and become lean & mean on their own behalf how (or why) should we continue to aid them for 2012?

  • Come on Obama. Please start fighting the Republicans. America is on your side. If they start blocking policies, we'll boot them out. Prove you are a Democrat, and start fighting the Republicans. Barack Obama and all of your spokespeople, if you read this, fight the Republicans and your popularity will go up.

  • Come on Obama. Please start fighting the Republicans. America is on your side. If they start blocking policies, we'll boot them out. Prove you are a Democrat, and start fighting the Republicans.

  • PRIMARY THAT SUMMUMABITCH! He's a Republican in Dem-clothing. Fuck him, fuck the blue dogs, fuck 'em all. We need a primary, cuz Obama ain't saving shit, and if the US isn't saved, the rest of the western world will be dragged down into the shit with it.

  • Obama better watch his ass becouse Wiener wants to fuck him up.

  • @Houshalter - maybe, but good jobs?? Undervalueing labour markets will, long-term, result in some serious growth and disinflation issues.

  • @houshalter your logic is impressively wrong. Tale away minimum wage and they can hire 2 people for the price of one. Whoo hoo 4$ a hour

  • Democrats like Obama have compromised because too many Democratic voters are willing to compromise. Unions thought they could compromise with the Democratic Party and that way Democrats would have their back. I just hope union members and other Democratic voters wake the fuck up and stop compromising. Enough with the bullshit already. No more pretty lies. No more voting for the lesser of two evils. Force the Democratic Party to live up to liberal progressive principles or else abandon the party.

  • @genie0390 that's has to be the worst metaphor I've ever heard. Get the fuck out and go hump your right winger friends that are robbing everyone blind. Last time I checked the trickle down theory is bullshit, if it wasn't for minimum wage laws I bet workers would get paid even less by the fat cats. Right wingers typically vote that way cause they only care about gay marriage Nd

  • @danielvspolitics if it wasn't for minimum wage laws, people would have jobs.

  • Yes tax the RICH AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE . When Banks can borrow money from the federal reserve at 0% interest and then buy US treasury Bonds yielding a 4.12% return, and then pay their top earners millions in bonuses. This is strait up robing the tax payer. Normal people can't borrow money for free. The fed keeps printing money so these robbers can take it. They have not done anything to earn it. THUS I HAVE NO PROBLEM TAXING THEM 100% to get our money back.

  • is this the same guy that was like "The gentleman will sit down! the gentleman is correct in sitting."...because that guy was awesome

  • damn dude rep. Wiener has balls (hehe)

  • Here's an idea: Replace a lobbyist's normal job of bribing congressmen with forcing them to make a successful advertising PITCH in PUBLIC. One type of pitch you could force lobbies to do would be to require them to make a <5min YouTube public pitch video. That way, the congressman doesn't have to waste a bunch of time, and the lobby's intentions are available to the public at large. If a lobby's pitch doesn't get their goal? Too bad for you! Anyone in advertising knows the importance of a pitch.

  • when i heard that Mr. Wiener was fighting back i literaly stood up and said: YES WEEEEINER, then my mom walked in...

    but anywy VIVA LA REVOLUCION

  • I'm tired of being poor how can I sell out and join the lobbyists? I'm willing to say yay pollution or whatever now how can I get paid?

  • You know i see Cenk's optimism regarding "the rebellion has begun", but i've been hearing that since the 90's. How long does it take for "rebellion" to get here? I mean, really! I'll tell you guys what, when rebellion gets here, i'll be fucking president of this country. I am liberal, but i am tired of people saying, "rebellion is coming, it's here, etc".....when i see it, that's when i'll stop bitching about it. Frankly, when you have dumbasses voting repubs, it doesn't make me "optimisitc."

  • this shits inspirational. those democrats finally represent the ideas i believe. wish there were more congressman like these who stood up for social security, medicaid, etc. which are going in the shithole with the new conservative agenda in congress

  • your a fool

  • what's wrong with dog food? It's delicious!!

  • I didn't vote in 08 I know how politics work it's all a charade.

  • @deepfreeze202 Frankly, i voted for senate democrats, but not Obama. I knew this asshole was full of smoke and mirrors, but apparently, people were fucking "inspired". Referencing sentences and words are "inspiring"???? My family never votes because no one truly is elected for the people.

  • @Stingerbillion Same here no one in my family votes either we all pretty much agree that the entire process is rigged so whats the point. I thought differently until bush got elected despite losing the popular vote, made me realize politics are bullshit and the greedy corporations are the ones in control.

  • the fact we still have troops in the middle east just goes to show there is a larger puppet master running the united states. there is NO excuse we still dump millions of dollars a minute into that bush created war. I HAVE NOT HEARD ONE EXPLANATION AS TO WHY WE R STILL OVER THERE. but i know the reason... so does everyone else...

  • The only 'movement' Obama is seeing or recognizing is the Tea Party movement.... How odd.

  • I teared up in the end <3

    REVOLUTION!

  • Obama is weak as a wet noodle and saying less and less every day. Is he a Republican plant?

  • Your very misguided. If you are so about rights look into the ethical history of the people you are quoting.

  • Tha difference between Obama & a Republican Prez (esp.with a Repub. Congress in tow) is Repubs would bend tha U.S. over, open up it's cheeks and shove any & every bill up it's unlubricated ass to tha chagrin of all opposed while admonishing us to luv it. Their ideas may lack coherent substance but I must say... U gotta luv tha conviction. Meanwhile this incessant need of Obama to pander with this nonsensical 'spirit of compromise' attitude resolves very little and simply makes him look weak.

  • Good dog food costs a lot so, yea...

  • To all those standing up to the rich minority. I thank you.

  • Wiener is excellent. Thank goodness he's taking a stand. I just hope that when he becomes president (President Wiener...hmmm, shame about the name) he stands by his words.

  • Grayson couldn't be bought by lobbyists either - he also cut out the middle man.

Times are tough man, that 20% cut paid to a lobbyist could go straight into their pockets. These people are shrewd.

  • Obama is beyond squishy. Obama is a corporate Shill. It seems his only job is to be the first Black President.

  • Wiener for president!

  • President Obama, there's a battle outside and it's raging!

  • What they call "corporate donations" in the United States, we call corruption and a quick boot out of parliament here in Europe.

  • Ha. Yeah, Obama, quit being so darn squishy.

  • "it's you. it's the people" the people who put a ton of republicans in office last november???

"absolutely critical ... but ... pathetic also" you couldn't sound more like an idiot if you tried.

  • i love anthony weiner hes so freaking ha bisky

  • Weiner cannot be bought by lobbyists - in order to but cost, he has cut out that middle man.

  • @jag10 i bet the florida regrets not voting grayson back he couldnt be bought either

  • If obama really wanted to show and prove change, he would find another way of the use of vehicles other than gas. What about free energy?

  • Obama said the same thing as Weiner before he got Goldman Sachs funding and became president.

  • I don't know what's up with our President. I know he isn't dumb, but it seems like he has chosen the toxicity of Washington politics. We don't need another basic politician. We need a leader. A very strong leader.

    Gemma

  • @LordSnow69 That's such a feeble attempt at discrediting my point. Im guessing most would consider European nations somewhat communist due to the formation of the EU and their access to state health care. Why, if communism is so bad, are the top 5 happiest countries all from Europe, and 6 of the top 10 countries with the highest quality of life from Europe. Now if we eliminate money and use more efficient technology, which is what TVP suggests, what would be the downside?

  • @AWAK3NEDM1ND Silence, Luciferian dog.

  • @LordSnow69 Just what I thought; In the face of logic your argument crumbles.

  • @AWAK3NEDM1ND There's no way I'm going to waste time bandying words on a YT video with some brainwashed Communist. Communism is evil at its very core, because you'll NEVER ever in a million decades have the equality promised. Freedom means the opportunity to make it or break it on your own abilities / merits, not be declared "equal" by government rule... and that's what Communism is. That's what TVP is, in a green wrapper.

  • @LordSnow69 You fail so hard its not even funny...

  • @tommysch Spare me the Internet cliche`s chode.

  • Both sides of the coin are true here. Obama IS a corporate sell out, he needs their money to get re-elected However it's easy for Kucinich, Weiner, etc, to criticize because they represent safe districts. Further they're all unelectable as President and they know it. What to do about it?

  • You haven't even mention how the democrats in Indiana have boycotted and are currently in urbana Illinois

  • WIENER FOR PRESIDENT!

    (I love saying that)

  • This is perhaps the one time all you fans of people who at least speak up can yell "WE LOVE WEINER" and not be totally embarrassed :D

God that sounds so damn funny!

  • What the fuck! I could win a birthday cake for an invoicing site? Was money not good enough?

  • Finally some Congressmen call out Captain Caveman.

  • Wiener in 2012

  • Cenk your the greatest guy on the internet in politics...But your STupid to think Obama is stupid...If Obama gets into the fight not only will he proably end up like fucking kennedy...But the Republicans can finally say "see the president sent the unions not the Free people of the united states see..itsall the president..The Nigger is the one who wants unions what we gonna do about it blah blah..Than allt he stupid wanna be rich cheerleader fucking hilbillys will come out the wood works.

  • No shit waiting for the president didn't work. Hell there isn't much he can do. Yeah Obama rallies up to let everyone know what we the people want. However, whatever bill is presented has to go through the House, Senate, and of course to his desk. Yet enough, not every governor and senate want to go with it and would rather keep disagreeing and fighting. Seriously, we can't expect Obama to do it all. He's not Superman damn it!!!

  • So boring you are Cenk. Your show's a joke as are your viewers who are a bunch of pathetic fools who actually indirectly help the republicans and at the same time say the democrats are republicans. Shows you how dumb and pathetic your viewers are Cenk. Maybe you and they should go brush up on history some and learn what a democrat and a republican actually are.

Calling Reagan more liberal than Obama. Hard to believe but seeing as you help run for a republican... well I guess I see your agenda.

  • @glddraco You're a viewer and you certainly proved your statement about how dumb his viewers are at least partially correct. Fucking troll; go somewhere you're wanted--oh wait, no one wants you anywhere.

  • @alaskafido me a troll? I was always under the impression that almost everyone on youtube were trolls. After its not me calling Obama a nigger or saying how stupid he is. Its not me that tells people not to vote than complains when the republicans go after your rights to collectively bargain. People like Ed Shultz and Cenk Uygar shouldn't complain. They don't vote.

  • @glddraco OK, I'll play. Almost everyone on youtube trolls? Hardly. Non troll way to deal with channels where you think the host is boring, the videos a joke, and the viewers pathetic fools? Don't watch the channel. Troll way? Leave comments stating that. Where does that put you? Ding ding ding...that's right, troll.

  • Cenk and 'progressive' friends preying for someone to kill Obama so one of their so called 'progressive' friends can get elected.

  • THE GENTLEMAN IS CORRECT

  • @SpOilTheFun: Thank you for the info! Peace.

  • I love the Waiting for Godot reference. Not only because no one on the right will even understand the reference, but also because in light of how the right wing corporatists want to move America closer and closer to fascism, I can't think of a more appropriate iconoclast to that position than Beckett.

  • He sounds alright, but if the bankers and corp,s don't back him, he'll never be President. Corporate polical donations make any notion of a democratic govt. quite impossible

  • @crocfme ...it actually is possible...I know...not likely...but how much more does it take to wake up the (R)tarded voting populace?....

  • @crocfme Sad but true.

  • @crocfme

Oh he is backed by corporations all right... The RIAA & MPAA also...

  • Congressman Weiner Damn he must have been teased a lot when he was a kid LOL

  • It's nice to hear a little hope from Cenk's voice as he talks about Democratic Congressmen fighting back against those that propose to harm the middle/lower class of US citizens. However, I don't think it would amount to anything if Democratic Congressemen chose to fight back unless they ralley behind a new progressive leader brave enought to fight to be president in 2012.

  • It's pretty obvious that Cenk doesn't like obama, and that's okay.

  • Don't give into the self fulfilling prophecies. They want you to have despair. It's not much time. But we still have time to correct things.

That disappears the second you ride Troy's bucket.(Goonies?)

  • Want a fight? Great! RUN SOMEBODY IN THE DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY!!!!

  • Corporations versus the people. The people are loosing. That is the reality, talk is cheap.

  • Educated people are a menace 2 the ruling elite. That is why they are willing to cut funding for education, kill teachers unions & slowly but surely kill the middle class.

All their actions in congress make perfect sense from their prospective.

This is no conspiracy, it is a fact that "Corporate investors prefer poor populations. The poorer you are, the harder you will work for less. The poorer you are, the less equipped you are to defend yourself against the abuses of wealth." Dr. Parenti

  • DeFazio hit it hard at the Energy Hearing Yesterday.

He understands that speculation is at the heart of our high gas and oil prices and made sure the panelists knew it. Kudos

  • Weiner has some balls, go Dems.

  • Maybe they should put some steel in Obama's nuts. That makes the assumption he has balls. He is a sissy-boy, so maybe we are being overly hopeful that he will make good on any of his campaign promises.

  • I am sorry, but the USA has no future.. the job market still sucks, the economy is still fucked up.. DON'T BELIEVE THE CORPORATE NAZI MEDIA and what they report.. corporations rule us and I can't wait until Ron Paul brings down THE IRS and the FEDERAL RESERVE - they are responsible for allowing this country to go to shit..

AND DON'T FORGET THE NEW WORLD ORDER... Its not a dream, it is real... just do a search on NEW WORLD ORDER - ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT which is set up by the global elite.

  • @Nadav34- Yes, but how do you fight the new world order?

  • @fyfytj I don't know, torch their houses, cars and corporations. (sarcasm)

  • I'd rather have a president who tries to represent the whole country, even the irrational part that will never support him, to the one who only tries to represent my interests.

That being said, Obama's way too cautious. When the polls show people want a public option, then put your cards on the table and make the republicans filibuster it.

  • Nice to see Freshbooks advertising on youngturks. Love my freshbooks. Best $19 per month I spend on my business.

  • NOBAMA

  • Weiner. lol

  • I've said it a thousand times, I'll say it again, Uygur is a one dimensional idiot. Really?! A sitting President is going to tell tax paying constituents that he is going to kick their ass. I mean REALLY?! All of a sudden you forgot that they repealed don't ask don't tell, got an extension of unemployment benefits AND sign an arms reduction treaty. But in Cenk's PATHETIC little mind it is more important to hold a VALUED position on tax cuts, that could have negatively impacted the recovery.

  • American political life is as horrible as it is for ONE basic reason - THE APATHY OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

This is why (sadly) it almost always takes CRISIS for people to take some interest.

HOWEVER, with effective leadership, with effective propaganda (which is itself a neutral concept - it simply means propagation), it is possible to not have to go quite so close to the abyss.

And that is what is sorely lacking now amongst those "left of crazy" nowdays.

  • That system? You must mean pluralist democracy.

Oh no! Lobbyists are influencing politicians? Interests are competing for political leverage? Money ... In politics??? SAY IT AIN'T SO

Yeah, its a real shame that Obama didn't fundamentally reverse the workings of American politics the day he was inaugurated,. Hell, next you're going to tell me that Congressmen only represent the people in their district that vote.

  • Wiener for president.

We've had a bush and a dick in the white house, it's time for a real Wiener.

  • @FuckYouLetMeLogIn Lol, the white house is a joke.

  • @FuckYouLetMeLogIn Weiner is a whiner. It is not that I don't love him as a person, but he is just not ready to be president unless he tone down his head-on aggressiveness a little.

  • Its about time that other Dems started talkin smack about Obama, cause Ive been saying shit about Obama after he showed his True Color with the Republican Party last year.

  • i challenge you to find me a president who has done more in 2 years..then find me a president who has done more in 2 years while dealing with 2 wars.. then find me a president who has done this much while dealing with 2 wars and an economy about to hit depression.. then find me a president that has done more while dealing with 2 wars, an economy at the brink of depression, and a party who is determined to make sure that nothing you do passes..”

  • @mashack12 Let's see no reversal of Bush era civil liberties restrictions, renewal of the patriot act, caving on taxes, reversal on closing gitmo, still got us in Iraq and Afganistan, continued the bailouts started under Bush, all of his economic people are establishment people (many of whom played a role in the events which untimately created the mess we are in now), virtual silence from the White House on events in Wisconsin, Michigan, etc.....it goes on and on.

  • @xexixk answer my question find me a president whos done what he has said... if you think the president has been silent on the unions you have no clue what you are talkingabout.. he was talking to WI 14 twice aday.. google Obamas Organizing for america wisconsin.. you know who passed tax cuts? the voters in Nov. and the dems who begged him to wait till after the midterms.. or the senators who refused to close gitno after Obama bought 2 prisons here in america..

  • @mashack12 look at watch?v=_dANFfwcSGc Explains my feelings pretty well.

  • @xexixk Iraq will be over in september.. afghanistan was promised to be surged the whole campaign.. all of your issues that you have are with congress not Obama.. now answer my last post.. you cant im tired of the Obama haters and cenk nut huggers.. you tell me how you get your news about dems from a ex republican?

  • @mashack12 Actually I'm not a Cenk hugger, sometimes I agree with him, sometimes I don't. Also, I voted for Obama. However, over the past few years I have also come to realize that the difference between the two parties are largely cosmetic. It's like wrestling, all of the fighting is largely fake. A show for our entertainment and to provide the illusion of opposition. Anyone from who is truely in oppostion is marginalized. The two parties are just different sides of the same corrupt coin.

  • @xexixk wll like I said find me a president beat the challenge.. I yet have had someone meet the challenge.. b/c no one can.. these ppl never had the presidents back and its sad ,, where were they when the president was getting marched against in the HC fight? no where where were they when he was called a racist facist marxist terrorist who was going to destroy america? no where to be found.. These ppl never had the presidents back why should he have theirs..

  • @mashack12 It not even personal, all these progressive ideologues are under the mistaken impression that the President can push whatever he wants through congress. The progressive healthcare criticism was the lack of a public option that would have sunk the bill. Those are the VALUES that the president is supposed to embrace at the expense of all else. If the progressive caucus has so much pull how come we don't have single payer healthcare. The Democrats controlled the House and Senate.

  • @schmokay but it is personal.. Cenk doesnt like Obama and that is why hes always attacke him.. the thing is the public option was in the bill the president pushed and it was taken out by congress.. the disdain that they have towards the president is idiotic

  • @mashack12 If you think Obama is actually going to bring any real meaningful change to DC you are setting yourself up for dissapointment. I gave up that hope thing pretty quickly when I saw the writting on the wall. Any candidate who would actual fight for and create change will never be nominated because the establishment won't allow it. They would smear them and discredit them.

  • @xexixk like i said fill my challeng you wont be able to

  • @mashack12 Let's see...he passed a health care reform bill that may have some good aspects to it but it isn't really that much of a "reform." It still channels money to the insurance industry. It's actually a dream for them, everyone required to purchase their coverage and thus pay money to the private insurance industry. Other than that I can't think of anything. The economy is still horrible and the job market horrible, regardless of what spin they try to put on it.

  • @xexixk haha you cant meet the challenge can you?? and if you think that the economy is bad look at this.. GDP growth before Obama came into office.. -6% now 4% that is a 10 point swing..job loss when Obama came into office 750K amonth now.. gaining 250K that is a 1 M jobs wing a month .. the dow when Obama came into office 6000.. now 12000 .. doubled the stock market.. you dont know facts

  • @mashack12 If you think he has acheived any great things then by all means list them.

  • @xexixk the list of his accomplishments is too long here is a website.. wtfhasobamadonesofar (DOT) com

    ..

  • @mashack12 All of the realatively small potatoes variety. Take a look at the video I put in a previous message. How do you feel about Clinton? I voted for him as well and my biggest resentment is that he signed NAFTA, which was a knife in the back of the working people in this country. However, it would have been signed regardless of who was in office at that time because that is what the puppet masters wanted.

  • @xexixk small potatoes? GTFO,, tell me what clinton passed for the left? DOMA DADT repeal glass steagle.. Obama has to reverse all of those.. Clinton also bombed 3 innocent cuntries.. I still challenge you in my first comment.. but im sure you cant.. itsimpossible.. yet you bash the president

  • @mashack12 Yes small potatoes. Where are the jobs, etc.? Now to be fair I never said anyone else would have necessarily done better. From my view the major problem is the establishment and the corrupted system itself. Now take a look at that video.

  • @xexixk the president has created 4M jobs in a slow economy.. if he gets 8 years with this slow economy he still will have created 16 M jobs.. there hasnt been apresident that has done this nuch in years yet there is hate.. its idiotic

  • @mashack12 I don't have hate. I have dissapointment and disillusionment. HIs economic advisors and those he put in economic positions are many of the same ones from the Clinton era, many who were responible for the policies that led to this economic meltdown. Any new jobs are low paying insignificant jobs. Decent jobs people can live on and fed their families on continue to fly away. The rhetoric is different, but the important policies not so much.

  • @xexixk haha dissapointment? you must be dissapointed in every president that we have had..jesus christ you say that he hasnt turned the economy arund I show you how he has.. no comment about that.. you say hwere is the jobs? O show you all the jobs. the you say the jobs dont count.. if you keep moving the goal post then he wil never score.. you still havent given me a president.. im still waiting

  • @mashack12 No, decent job losses replaced by lowing paying jobs do not count. The creative methods the government has (which were not created by Obama by the way) to count who is unemployed or not and make the unemployment situation look better than it is does not count. More of the same. Every president does some of the same small potatoes stuff. I've seen nothing big or major. He's no FDR.

  • @xexixk how do you know what jobs are being replace? you wont admit the economy is tured around.. you wont admit ther president has created a large amount of jobs.. you tell me what big things you would have done as president.. and ill show you how congress would have shredded that up and threw it away.. you still havent named the president that fufills my challenge

  • @mashack12 All one has to do is look around and they can see what jobs have been created. Talk to those who lost their decent jobs and what they have been "lucky" to find, if they have found anything. FDR, Kennedy, Johnson (great on domestic policy, very poor on foreign policy) all accomplished more. Then of course there was the great anti corporatist and monoply buster Theodore Roosevelt.

  • @xexixk nope none of those meet the challenge.. not FDR not LBJ definetley not JFK.. look at my comment and tell me that they meet the challenge none of them

  • @mashack12 You seriously think in totality Obama will surpass any of those? Johnson got major civil rights legislation passed and fought for it (even though he knew it would loss the majority of the south for the party). FDR also fought major hurdles to get legislation and reforms passed. All of the stuff in that website you sent me is pretty small insignificant feel good stuff that doesn't matter much in the larger scheme of things.

  • @xexixk yeap.. you tell me which of those 2 great presidents had to deal with 2 wars an economy hitting depression and a party who isnt interested in moving the country foward all at the same time.. all while there are 100's of disastors happening in the world

  • @mashack12 100s of disasters in the world? FDR had a much more serious economic situation to contend with and eventually a much more serious war. Obama could have and should have withdrawn troops from Iraq long ago.

  • @xexixk yes 100's of disastors.. yea FDR wasnt dealing with all that at once.. Obama kept us frOM depression according to 98% of economist.. FDT didnt have the plate Obama has.. he had a depression but Obama had to try and keep us from a depression all while dealing with 2 wars and the party of no

  • @mashack12 FDR had plenty of people who said no and those who hated him with a passion. I don't see what these 100's of disastors are that you are referring too. The Obama presidency will be remembered by historians as a Jimmy Carter-esque presidency.

  • @xexixk FDR had ppl who hated him no where near they hate for Obama no where near.. if this presiden is like jimmy carter then how come this president has done more than all of clintons 8 years? cleanded up all of clintons mess he created and the mess bush created.. turned around the economy.. you tell me what more the president could do.. not a damn thing more.. hes never going to do enough for you ppl

  • @mashack12 The economy has not turned around. Cleaned up Clinton's mess? He's got the same economic people Clinton had. FDR had people who loathed him just as much though their reasons may have been different - and fiercly opposed him. It's all the same stuff, only the rhetoric has changed. I'm not as impressed as you are when someone smiles and tosses out a few feel good phrases. We are under even more corporate control now than we were before. Lets see what you say in 10 or 15 years.

  • @xexixk how has the economy not turned aroud? GDP growth was at -6% now 4% 10 point swing.. created more jobs in the last years than all of bushs 8.. created 4M jobs in 2 years.. when he came into office we were losing 750K jobs a month.. now we are gaining 250K jobs a month that is a Million job turn around..the Dow jones was at 6000 when he came into office its at 12000 now.. what country do you live in?

  • clinton NAFTA repeal of glass-steagle deregulation of HAMP DADT DOMA just to name a few

  • @mashack12 I could make the same argument you are making about Obama - "Well he didn't want to do those things but gave in and had to in order to survive" as for NAFTA it would have been signed regardless of who was in office because that is what their corporate overlords wanted.

  • @xexixk what are yoou talking abotu.. the president is doning the exact opposite of those policies.. every trade agreement hes made is bringing jobs home and creating exports. including the 1 he made with SK India indonesia and now brazil and chile. what about DOMA? what about glass-steagle? what about DADT? you tell me how Obama is far right as cenk likes to lable him.. but clinton is the lefts poster boy

  • If you tihnk Obama is going to be your saviour or the saviour of this country you are wrong. Actually at this point I don't think there is any one who can be. Not anyone from the establishment of either party any ways. The system is too corupted and will just run its course until it crashes and burns.

  • @xexixk nope I dont thnk hes the saviuour it is you ppl who think he is suppose to be super jesus hes doing everything he can and has done a great job.. if you cant see the faxts that is your fault.. every problem you stated i gave you facts why you were wrong and how hes actually done a great job..

  • @mashack12 Small potatoes feel good stuff doesn't equal a great job. I want a fighter who has a spine. Your profile says you are 19. Same age I was when Clinton was elected. I in my young naivete defended Clinton just as blindly and as hard as you are defending Obama. Granted I'd prefer Clinton over having had a second term of the first Bush, but looking back I see now how naive I was. There were actually a lot of things to criticise him about. You will find yourself in the same situation.

  • @mashack12 so basically you hate people who hate on a republican but hate people who like democrats...i wonder which party youre from. Maybe if you weren't biased you could come up with something more solid as most not supporting any party often do.

  • @shoot232 what are you talking about?

  • @mashack12 Well obama has promised to do alot of these things and got almost nothing done except the most watered down health care bill conceiveable, im still waiting for him to take a stand on closing guantanamo let alone ending the wars thats way too big of a step for him, he'll keep them going just to keep the republicans from whining. As long as he supports the war he is republican and hes done that by letting the war budget increases happen. Democrat is a false title for him

  • @shoot232 Obama has gotten almost everything he promised done.. everything he promised was put into congress if it didnt pass that is on congress.. the public option is what you are bitching about i assume? well thank the senate dems who refused to pass it.. you forgot tha he tried to close Gitmo twice.. bought 2 facilities to take them to..and guess what..you dot it senate dems refused to let it pass.. Iraq is ending.. there goes that.. he PROMISED TO SURGE AFGHANISTAN..your problem is confress

  • @shoot232 I guess Weiner is a (R) he supported the wars.. Hillary is a (R) too what about kerry.. and the list goes on.. your blind dismay is amusing I can do this all night.. disproving everthing you say is kinda fun

  • @mashack12 what have you disproven? you say he is going to accomplish these things but backed no evidence. He said he would do those things...well youre saying hes tried well, i dont know when trying and succeeding has altered to such a degree maybe if he had put a stronger stand on these things they would be accomplished...that being said...how the fuck do you think he will convinc people to end the war if he cant even convince people in his own party to side with him its a gridlock

  • @shoot232 1. what you are saying makes no sense.. it sound like a bunch of muble jumble.. no offense.. 2 is he suppose to be super jesus? how is he suppose to have done ecerything the progressive party has wanted in a 2 yars span while dealing with everything he inherited..

  • @mashack12 also i like how you used "supported" past tense as a key word there because even i supported it at first. I noticed the failing to mention that democrats do not currently support it, but most republicans do however. If im blind, then you live in the past because you use evidence from then and not the here and now. Opinions change those past opinions are invalid as examples if theyre not in the here and now and how do you know what they really believe? you seem to always know anyway

  • @shoot232 yea supported.. you cant expect as soon as you dont want to play war that you can just cut it off this isnt call of duty.. if you think we can just end wars you are very very naive.. and like i said he promised in the campaign to surge in afghanistan

  • Cenk, if I vote for you, can I hang out at the white house?

  • Correction Cenk: there is a movement happening in the world! RISE UP AND TAKE YOUR COUNTRY BACK!

  • I love Weiner the politician is ok as well

  • GO WEINER!! you are big...

  • I am just so pissed that the republicans were right Obama wasn't 'change' :(

  • Anthony Weiner Rocks! He is fresh air to us suffocating Dems!

  • Weiner makes me proud to be a New Yorker

  • Democrats made sure they lost the House to the GOP and boner , now they are gonna act , this is a frickin show .

  • @1000000hh Thank you. They had a majority. I don't remember anyone standing with the president when they were calling him Marxist, Al Quada sleeper agent, monkey, ect. Where was all this righteousness when the Health Care bill was on the table?
