I remember meeting him and getting his autograph in 1997 when his second album, "Between Now and Forever" was released. He was at my hometown Wal-Mart lol. Later on that week, he also performed at the county fair and I was able to watch him perform. It was an awesome show! He was so very sweet when I met him too! Very soft spoken.

I have been a fan since 1994 and just hope he releases even more recordings. Yes the labels are tough business, but in the end you want to sing,write and record what you like, cause if you don't you probably don't want to sing it onstage over and over. How Lucky I Am was his make it or break it project with the label. Was not very successful and the songs had little or no airplay. I listened to the radio everyday in 1999 just to see if one of Bryan's album cuts would get a shot...nothing.

I believe the downfall spiral of his mainstream career came when he went forth with his own project album, How lucky I am. He delivered excellent songs that required very high notes throughout the entire album and the finished product is flawless. However, Bryan never toured with any of these songs on his "live" lists. To try to sing these songs live on a regular tour circuit is like slicing away at your vocal chords with a knife...

Obviously, his talent was never lost, he just decided to " go his own way " to get his music to the people. All of Bryan's fans have always known where he has been and what he has been doing with his music, but obviously like many of us, our families come first and that is where he has been, being a good husband and a wonderful dad to his children. He is there to teach his kids life's lessons and may the world produce more fathers just like him. Wonderful video Bryan, just wonderful.
