I've known mroz since 4th grade, the kid has always been in great shape , playing hockey and rugby all year round. he just likes to puke.  we finally got it on tape. it is fantasitc. i'm sure he went to nick's roast beef after and settled his stomach.

North American rugby is typically played in the summer months, as (at least in Canada) there is snow and such on the ground come winter.

So... that day could have been over 30 Celsius (90F)... he just sprinted a long distance, and may not have been in the best shape.

At the beginning of the season, when everyone starts training, there is ALWAYS a couple of pukers during the sprints and fitness conditioning.

Its how you learn if you're fit enough... :)

This was late in the game, I believe, and it was pretty warm that day, unseasonably warm for our typical New England spring weather. Anyway, The Vomit Comet throws up a lot for a kid that is in phenomenal shape...haha.

We played in the Spring from late March through June. Summer is for training and tournaments, then our league season is in September and October, with playoffs in November.

If I may ask, why is it "Absolutely fantastic" that the kid is throwing up?

Why would an announcer be happy about this, and laugh about it on camera? Don't get me wrong; the guy is super excited about the game, but having a player throw up "on film" isn't very exciting or fantastic, in my opinion.

Probably more of an inside thing. We rarely tape matches, this kid is notorious for throwing up, so it just worked out in a very entertaining way for everyone there.

The announcer is also the coach, who has a good sense of humor about things.

Vomiting is absolutely horrific, I do not think any other usual physical function could ever come close to this devastating experience: how can it ever be pleasant to undergo nausea for minutes or even hours, and then feel like choking while throwing that acid stinky disgusting substance up???

There's plenty of people "enjoying" the ipecac phenomenon, I still think they must be totally mental. We're getting used to anything nowadays, even the most disgusting stuff.

@220773 eh, well vomiting isnt fun, but its not the worst thing in the world, i mean if i feel nausited (ik thats not spelled right) I just go head throw up & so i can keep playing. Dont get me wrong i dont like to puke but i'd much rather do that then get stabbed or something
