I got a .17 M2 barrel for my 77/22 but have not tried it yet on rabbits or squirrels. I assume your making head shots, what kind of damage does it do compared to a .22 on a body shot?
@Rifleman1964 It does more damage than a 22LR especially at closer ranges buy not as much as a 17HMR, i use ELEY ammo which is very accurate and has about the fastest velocity at around 2150FPS from my rifle.
@weazle66 I tried Hornady, CCI and Eley. In my gun Hornady works the best, CCI was the worst which is funny because I think they both use the Hornady bullet. Im looking forward to trying it out this year. Thanks for the info !
A box of 50 Mach 2 would be about $7 in your money, i use ELEY which is easy to get here in the UK as it's made here and it's the most accurate in my rifle.
