Im looking for a record that i thought was by Jack scott. the words are, So drink to this fool, this crazy fool, who told his baby goodbye. Can anyone help find who did this song. Thanks
I was a teen ager in the 1950's there was NO better time in History to be a teen age then in the 50's everything was happening, all at onec, Rock & Roll was starting, Custom Car's Hot rods, low riding,Puting a 3" block of iorn in your leaf spring, lowered it 3" cutting your coild springs, or heating them droped the front, Long hair, with a DA, min the back, (Ducks Ass) WE, started the turned up color, no more button down Ive leeger look, Chop and Channle car's Motor Cycle Clubs, Car Clubs.
Bu Şarkıya Hastayım sayın Hd en'ciler şarkıyı Benim için Anlamlı kılmak İçin sevgilimi Terk ettim :D Good Bye Pretty Baby Bye Bye Bolsho's Goin' Away...! :D
Grew up on eastside of Detroit. Enjoyed Scott's music at the Crazy Horse Saloon at 8 Mile Rd. and Groesbeck, also at his barn on 21 or 23 Mile Road which was really country then. Great music. I read somewhere he was in Nashville and still in the music business.
My friend Marie is his niece--in fact, I saw him do a duet with her at her wedding reception. He's STILL got it. She now has a rockabilly band with her husband called "Rio & The Rockabilly Revival"--cool stuff!
It was New Years Eve 1958. I was a sailor on holiday leave, attending a party with a new girlfriend. My old high school pal was bird-dogging my girl, but I was too drunk to care. This 45 rpm record was playing. The player arm was turned so that the song would repeat. It played over and over and over, goodbye baby bye-bye, goodbye baby bye-bye, nonstop, and I got drunker and drunker and drunker... God, that was 52 years ago. Singer Jack Scott and I are old men today...
@PokeyGreen ....Well, i am 46 years old...And just heard this song for the 1st time about a week ago!.....And i can't stop listening to it...I keep playing it over and over and over and over.....What a GREAT SONG!!!...Did you end up breaking up with the girl?....lol
Jack Scott was great. I love and thank the creators of YouTube so we can draw back the curtain to the past great music. We, the people born in the 40's & 50's have the most music from our past than anyone in history before us. Great technology brings back artist like Jack Scott and so many others.
HD EN Reklam müziği süper yapmış adam hemde 1959 da ,benim 14 aylık oğlum var bu parçayı dinlettigim zaman goodbye baby deyince baby yi baba diye anlayıp devamlı baba diyor :))))) goodbye baba :))
Jack and 1958 they go together like no other singer. His three hits, AND flip sides ruled the airwaves. And no one was better than he,

The Fool is the name of the song.written by Lee Hazelwood. Elvis did a version of it; I don't recall Jack Scott singing it.

The Chantones were a big part of this recording. Together with Jack Scott, they created a great sound.

Really beautiful song. Can't hear it often enough. Thank you very much for posting this.
Only thing: the picture coming up at 1:34 is Gene Vincent and not Jack Scott.
