@YourCashIsTrash Most of us don't care about keeping the Queen as head of state as afterall it was our King James VI that united the crowns. We just don't like the union of the Parliaments. Having the Queen as head of state is really just ceremonial. She has no real powers and the ones she does have, she will never likely use.

This is one of the nicest national anthems I have heard. It is musically coherent, the modulations are consistent and the rythms match perfectly. Many national anthems are disjointed, but this one flows beautifully. The melody is nice, very pleasing to the ear. I would rank this anthem as one of the three nicest along with France and Germany.

Colombia significa literalmente "tierra de palomas macho", es cierto que quiere decir Tierra de Colón, pero en italiano es Colombi y esto viene del latín columbus que significa paloma macho. El nombre se lo puso un venezolano el honorable Francisco de Miranda vea pues nuestro nombre es de origen venezolano.
