It's not that "true" country is dead, it's just evolved. Country music stars are becoming more popular and they need songs that can put on a show and it's this kind of music that makes crowds go crazy. the first time i saw Kenny was in 1999, Greensboro, NC opening for Alabama. WOW! He has come a long way since then. WAY TO GO!! Thumbs up :)

Its a shame he went this route!! Used to go to every show from 1998 and on (even when there was a 7:15 and 9:30 show!!). After the "no shoes" tour, he lost touch with the fans! Would rather go to a Kanye West show... at least he doesnt pretend to appreciate what got him there. --- The days of Strait and Jackson are over.......very sad!

I can't think of an artist that is more interactive with their fans than Kenny. He has the biggest stage show, biggest tours, and the biggest fan base in country music. What other artist gets to play to 50,000 a night in sold out football stadiums running around and entertaining like he does.
