nice car I don't hate I got an 08 lancer dropped with racing rims weight reduction modifications and gonna add A magna flow exhaust replace the catalytic converter and see what else I can do with it maybe strong forged pistons that fit my engine with forged rods to make it 2.2L, throw a header in it short ram intake piggy back ecu and A hole other stuff and wait for more mods to come out that add way more hp and see how I can make my cvt tranny more stronger performance like.

I like how the Si's look, but the gas mileage is poor. Considering at just 197hp, this isnt exactly a race car, not even close, so it just makes more sense to go with a regular EX and trick that out. You get 65 more miles per full tank, and with a few extra g's you can get it to look exactly the same as the Si. So you end up spending the same amount as the Si, and you get much better gas mileage. 57 more hp doesnt make any difference, this car is not built for racing.

They did a decent job on the Si, but you have to get up to 5500 RPM to get anywhere. My Aveo, even though it is not much more than a penalty box, is the same way. Honda is gonna have a lot of competition in the near future with even smaller turbo charged engines pulling similar specs are in their opponents. IMO the civic has gotten too large and pricey to be considered when someone has a budget. I'd like to see what the redesigned model looks like. Supposed to be smaller and less expensive.

My '08 Si came with factory fog lights for the standard package, as well.. that didn't change for '09 as you mentioned. Additionally, premium sound is standard. Are you saying you paid an additional fee for the "chrome" exhaust or "premium" sound??
