Yeah Leinart needs to be traded or the cardinals need to at least help him out i mean the guy gets knocked out for the season twice due to a broken collar bone. i don't know about you but that doesn't sound like a good o-line to me.
I think Leinart's gonna get it together this year. Yes, I'm biased (I DO have a Leinart SC jersey hanging up in my closet after all), but then again it's my comment, so I'll say what I want. The only worry I have is not his maturity, but rather his organization. It IS the Cardinals after all.
I think what the Charger fan is forgetting is that you can't be so quick to label a quarterback a bust. As proof, I would refer him to a certain quarterback named Eli Manning.
Ken Dorsey threw for 3,500 yards and more in 2001 and 2002. He threw for 33 tds in 2001 and 28 in 2002. His all-time college record is 38-2. He won a National Championship and lost one. I believe if he didn't get cheated put of a Heisman {even without} he is the best college QB ever. Leinart I would say is good and about even to Dorsey.
Greatest college quarterback of all time. It is hard to imagine another USC offense as electrifying as the 04/05 offense with Leinart, Bush, White, Jarrett and Smith.
Matt Leinart is going to be a hall of fame quarterback in the NFL, seeing as he was one of the best college QB's ever(and I'm talking in the top 3). This man was amazing in college and he will be greater in the NFL.
lol, a great QB doesn't need to run, a running QB - black or white - is eventually going to get nailed in the NFL. Matt has something much more important, something the greats like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady possess....football smarts.
It is much too early to tell...NFL QBs need 3-4 yrs to develop, Matt has not even played an entire season as the starter for the Cardinals - note, that's the CARDINALS...and yet he broke two NFL rookie records, 2 TD passes in the lst quarter of his first two games...and also the most passing yards for a rookie. Even the jesus christ of QB's Peyton Manning didn't do that well his rookie season, plus he did not have 3 diff OC's and 2 HC's and 2 playbooks to learn in less than 2 seasons. Hater
peyton manning had 3,739 his rookie season, unless your talking about in a single game but ill give you that he had 3 diff ocs and 2 hcs that would be challenging
Don't forget Eli Manning. Remember, last year, guys were ready to call him a bust and saying that the Giants should've taken Phillip Rivers. One year later, anyone still feeling that way? It's too early to quit on Leinart. According to his coaches, he understands the offense and playbook much more than he did last year. He's got the ability, he's got the offensive talent around him. He'll get it done. He's gonna be a great quarterback for years to come. FIGHT ON!!!
Matt Leinart has the poise, accuracy and leadership skills to be a NFL Hall of Famer and lead the Cardinals to a Super Bowl championship....Just sit back and watch what he does w/ his career!
The kid's got the goods....he shredded the Bears defense, as a rookie, behind one of the worst o-lines in the NFL. Next season begins the greatness....Fight On Matt!
