How to Takeoff in FLightgear (777 and other jets)

To take off and land, use the flaps. You can do the rotate at 130 knots. To stop the plane on the runway, don't use the flaps, just the reverses and the speed brakes. But you can use the brakes on shorts runways. To land, you don't need to put the nose down, just keep a low speed and put full flaps.
