  • Lol what are Odinpwnssatanscunt and willabema even arguing about? I can't tell. And btw I'm Christian and I enjoy this band very much. Great music :P

  • @TheZombiesarepeople2 I remember reading it as it was happening and I want to say that it started as an argument about whether "lama sabachthani" were actually Christ's last words as they're purported to be. And from there it exploded into that, hah.

  • @ohmysweetnurse Typical stupid Youtube argument :P IT DOESNT EVEN MATTER JUST ENJOY THE MUSIC.

  • Not sure if Ghaal would approve of your use of the "F" word viletree. Also this band could absolutely fucking burn most Black Metal bands out there

  • @Mogwaithegreat Your Ghaal rebuttal just made my day. And I agree completely about AN's ability to crush pretty much any group out there.

  • Comment removed

  • Overproduced plastic horseshit black metal. Stop stealing riffs from Gorgoroth you faggots.

  • @viletree I totaly agree. BUT, I still think that Nathrakh have some great riffs like this opening one.

  • This album is great by one very important aspect. Great studio work, great mix and great mastering.. The snares sounds lovely...

  • love this album :D

  • Some lyrics maybe?:D Please:D

  • @robson1267 the band has never released the lyrics so nobody know exactly them

  • @Enemy0fGod

    ok, thanks ;]

  • @Enemy0fGod well this song is kinda obvious but you telling the truth :)

  • @robson1267 make your own lyrics

  • Their soul purpose is to create the sound track to the Apocalypse... I think they're on the right track.

    Great song, great musicians.

  • I can see Christ on his cross crying out this song

  • Even the noise is afraid of this band

  • lol at the title of the song :D

  • I enjoy coarsely yelling Eloi Lama Sabachthani. GOTS TO GET DAT DIAPHRAM IN DERE

  • what the fuck is bmth?

  • @ChristBurner Bring me the Horizon, emo psudo metal and a blight on the good name of English Metal.

  • @CyanideSovereign This isn't emo. Can't really compare it to groups following a conformist movement.

  • @mainmenu895 I didn't say Anaal Nathrakh was emo! I wouldn't be here if I thought that anyway.

  • @CyanideSovereign I know you didnt, I just thought your comment could lead to confusion. That's why I said that :p.

  • @mainmenu895 Oh ok

  • @mainmenu895:

    >implying that there isn't conformity involved in Metal.

Using "non-conformity" as a soapbox hasn't worked since the 70's.

They're still using instruments, aren't they?

They're still recording albums, aren't they?

    Conformist pigs.

In all honesty, I appreciate it for what it is, and wouldn't care if they were the number-one band in the world.

    Appreciation is appreciation.

    Stop paying attention to niche.

  • Almoust feels like there was Jan-Chris De Koeijer from Gorefest as guest vocal, but no

  • i wish anaal nathrakh would post there lyrics .-..

  • Im so fucking tired of these slipknot sucks and BMTH is gay comments we know that already so shut the fuck up

  • ELOI ELOI LAMA SABACHTHANI \m/ \m/

  • sounds like someone really likes summertime

  • oh, yes, lama lama

  • me likes.

  • It's not one of AN's I'm overly keen on but that's the great thing about AN. No song is dreadful.

  • It really sounds like Niklas Kvarforth is singing on this. =P

    Great song.

  • If anyone wants a tab on this song, I made one, it can be found on ultimateguitar. (it's not complete though ^^")

  • Guitar or bass? :P

  • Guitar tab. Btw, why is my comment rated down? Oo

  • Aah, link?

    No idea :P

  • As chaotic as this band is, there's something very melancholy in their music.

Not only for the melodies that run through all their songs like this one & Do Not Speak but because the themes involved in each song.

Who the hell would think of chanting the last dying words of Christ? Anaal Nathrakh, that's fuckin' who!

ANAAL NATHRAKH KICKS ALL ASS FOR THAT!

  • @willabema Yeah, and System Of A Down did as well as Morbid Angel :D

    Anaal Nathrakh are great, nevertheless!

  • Both those bands are great.

  • @willabema Actually, any decently-read metal band.

  • @willabema

To be honest, System of a down also used the last words of Christ in one of their more well known songs

  • @thebaynetcom Yeah but they suck so who gives a fuck.

  • @willabema The name of this song is NOT the last words of Christ. Just had to point that out for accuracy's sake. Jesus said SEVEN things while on the cross before dying. The saying that this song is named after is part of ONE of the seven things he said, but it was not the last thing he said before he died.

  • @OdinPwnsSatansCunt Wow, how big of an attention whore are you?

  • @willabema Uh, huh? I'm not. How was I trying to draw attention to myself? I was correcting a mistake YOU made about the last words of Christ. No need to get all butthurt. Just learn something and enjoy the music, as always.

  • @OdinPwnsSatansCunt Because no one really gives a shit whether it's the first or last sentence jesus ever said. Regardless, it was a part of the last dying words Christ ever said. Correcting doesn't prove anything. Like I said, attention whore.

There was nothing to learn but the fact that you're a douche. How about you shut up and enjoy the music?

  • @willabema Hey, I pointed it out for accuracy's sake. Correcting proves facts. Unless everyone should just go around saying things incorrectly and that should just be okay? Just because YOU are okay with saying things inaccurately doesn't mean no one should correct you. I didn't write it just for you, either. So get over yourself and your butthurt. I'm not the one who decided to be an asshole. You were wrong. No need to get bitchy.

  • @OdinPwnsSatansCunt I'm not wrong and you're just looking for attention. Would it have made a difference whether it was the first or last words of Christ? No. It may not have been his exact dying words but it also was not worth pointing out therefore making you an attention whore.

Plus, I highly doubt the viewers are Christ followers who follow his every word. It's a kick-ass song, that's all that matters.

  • @willabema Maybe all that matters to you. The facts have nothing to do w/ whether or not people are Christ followers. I'm not, but religion still interests me. So does accurate information, even it that makes me a bit anal. But I agree that the music is great.

  • "Elli!!!!......Elli!!!!..........Lama Sabachtthhaaannniiii!!!!"

That's what Christ screamed on the cross before he died.

  • Fadi

  • @Scarfaceman77

Does it matter? :S I hear lots of other instruments you can listen to.....

  • I think you might be listening to the wrong genre if you care about understanding the singer.

  • ahh alright to listen to from time to time i love this band but last time i listend to them all day i got a fucking headache

  • They're talking in aramaic in that song.

"Eloih, Eloih, Lamma Sabacthani" = God, God, why did you left me? The last words from Jesus, before he's dead. It's cool isn't?

    Anaal Nathrakh kick fucking asses

  • Fucking Epic..

Lama sabachthani ,its fucking cool inferno

  • Is it really possible to enjoy this shit????

    I mean, seriously??

  • Yes.

  • well your actaully looking up bands just to make shit comments that we metal heads couldent relle care less about what you say like get real and get a life

    \M/ ANNAL NATHRAKH \M/

  • Don't get me wrong man..I new about these guys from a magazine ''Loud!'' from my country (Portugal) and I love heavy metal and the description was (translated) '' It requires a lot of control and tinhking to do something so out of control and unpredictable'', and they were very well rated, so I came to check it out...

I love Metal... You now, the vintage one (priest, maiden, manowar), the old thrash scene (megadeth, kreator, exodus)...

I just don't get this kind of music! Sorry there

  • ahh atleast you like judas priest , iron maider megadeth lol

  • yeah i love them... Megadeth is my favourite bend actually....

But the heaviest bands i listen to are Slayer and Death... and Death is the only Death metal band i love....

But i can understand what chuck says.. here all i hear are screams and shouts... i just don't consider it neither music or art... But i guess there are tastes for everything...

    Cheers!

  • you should check out Atheist mate, it could help broaden your horizons, and they're vocals aren't too extreme

  • I know them xD

But I don't really enjoy... I guess I love Death because Chuck was such a genious musicly and had the best guitar playing style i'd ever seen... I don't really enjoy his vocals... It's just that everything else is so perfect that i started to let it go because I could get the lyrics...

I'm just a wierd guy man xD

  • music is defined by:

    1. The art of arranging sounds in time so as to produce a continuous, unified, and evocative composition, as through melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre.

    2. Vocal or instrumental sounds possessing a degree of melody, harmony, or rhythm.

    3. A musical composition.

The written or printed score for such a composition.

Such scores considered as a group: We keep our music in a stack near the piano.

    4. A musical accompaniment.

    5. A particular category or kind of music.

  • Or even. An aesthetically pleasing or harmonious sound or combination of sounds: the music of the wind in the pines.

So indeed this band is music by all definitions.

Music is a form of art, so you're wrong on both accounts

I hope I enlightened you(courtesy of the internet), and hope you can learn from your mistakes and stop being a damn moron your whole life.

    CHEERS!

  • ahah

I was wrong the way I talked, but i still mean it...

I was just giving my opinion, in a wrong way i must admit, but you only have to agree or disagree... you don't need a degree to prove i'm an asshole..

    Sorry there..

    CHEERS!

  • You're right, I was a little over the line. I love tons of different types of music and hate when people don't like a certain kind and say it's not music. Sorry for being an ass.

  • It's okey man. Not a prob =P

Its just that i don't get the grind stuff... I love music mainly metal.. The most extreme I get is Death and I still don't love chucks voice.. But I paly guitar and he is my guitar god, so I just have to take it... And now I start liking it, but grindcore is just tooooo much to me xD

  • yes, and i beleive lots of people do

  • The first thing that I love about Anaal Nathrakh is that they are so creative. You don't need to wait 5 years for next album to be released. They always release better and better albums, as if that even was possible. Just amazing.

Best extreme metal song I've heard for years.

  • I'm writing the tabs for this song in guitar pro, it'll be done in a few days. If anyone wants them send me a PM :D

  • Where the fuck is the video with animal brutality having this song as soundtrack ? That would be the second (from my point of view) great video that disappears after Deicide's Walk With the Devil in Dreams You Behold (which had some great catastrophic events in it).

  • I agree, youtube sucks ;F

  • this song makes me want to listen to whitney houston "how do i know, if he really loooooves me, i say a prayer with every heartbeat" fuk yeagh!!!!!!!! and eat a taco

  • tacos rule!!

  • lol

  • @twltovgods fuck yeah! I LOVE TACOS :D

  • @twltovgods and eat a taco lololol

  • OMFG, I was just blasted away... The stuff these guys are doing is some of the sickest shit I´ver ever heard... but i really like it...:D

    Brutal as fuck...

  • This song makes me want to use my own ballsack as a punching bag.

  • this has extremely brutal vocals

  • nah

  • ROFL

  • hi.

  • from (un)holy bible

  • man u can have fun suckin my ass while i fuck ur mom

  • lol k, a/s/l?

  • As you're a fan of In Flames and Lady Gaga (lol), your opinion is worth less than nothing.

  • That's probably because everyone else's opinions are total bull.

  • Not maybe. Completely.

  • right boy, you know it better

  • actually searched the name of this song, and it looks like it's based on a short story with the same name written by William Hope Hodgson in 1919, it's apparently about blasphemy, religious mania, obsession with the Crucifixion of Jesus, and suicide bombing.. I found that interesting and thought maybe someone else might find that interesting as well;) Haven't read the story yet since I cant stand reading from the pc screen. But if you google it you'll find it;)

  • If I remember correctly, Jesus cried "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" when dieing on the cross. Stands for "My god, my god, why have you forsaken me?".

  • aye that is true, but I just had a hunch that the novel is the main influence. I have no idea really just a good old hunch:P

  • Comment removed

  • no,i did not leave you son...I was just busy you know..Mary and İ...yeeeeeaah 5 time..Oh My sweet Mary

  • For each nation,

    Shall rise against nation,

    As kingdom

    against kingdom.

  • Does anybody else agree that while Anaal Nathrakh are still very good, perhaps they should infuse more of their "Codex Necro" era into their music?

  • there are bands that evolve and there are bands that simply change(mostly for the worst). i believe that bands like anaal, behemoth and tool for example have evolved and were made better. other bands like dimmu, cradle of filth and the kovenant have changed to be not as good as before

  • why r u talking bout behemoth, cradle or dimmu here? they play for money...

    anaal nathrakh play serious music

  • Anaal nathrakh plays the music in meaning of irony.

  • Behemoth is awesome, 8groll8!

  • he was using outside sources to build an example and draw reference to the topic. and i totally agree, anaal nathrakh have grown into an evil horrible cretin-like misanthropic foul being that cannot be stopped.

THIS music is what going to church should feel like.

  • Oh yes, and when I was 18 I took an IQ test and got a score of 124, and I was an avid metal fan then, so I think the theory speaks volumes :D

  • sick drums...

  • pukeng ina! astiiiiiig ung album na 'to!!!!

  • BMTH are a bunch of fags. This band kicks there ass.

  • Fucking masterpiece

  • love this band, love this song

  • is there a tab for this song?

  • Been looking for a tab too, couldn't find one so listened and I think I've got most of it now ;)

  • what are u? jewish-christian shit? or just shit?

  • Metal is for people who listen to good music.

  • Metal is for the evolved and the intellectual.

Maybe if you emerged from your own cave you'd realize that. Prick

  • at first i wanted to disagree with your elitist comment, but then I started thinking and realized that the more intelligent people I know all listen to metal... So you might be right :D

  • It's really fucked up, but I think Bollthorn is right as well - metal is for the evolved and the intellectual - apparently my IQ is in the "superior" range (>130), and I fucking love metal - one of my real good friends listens to metal and he is in grad school for his doctorate

it may have something to do with "open-mindedness" and the willingness to consider all possibilities

    good call Bollthorn

  • Thank you :)

I genuinely believe open-mindedness has a lot to do with it. Hasn't anyone noticed that ignorant and religeous fanatics tend to have the intellect of braindead goldfish? xD

But in all seriousness, I do honestly believe that if you restrain yourself from learning to accept alternative means of living and thinking, and allow ignorance and fear of the unknown to blind you, you do become 'de-evolved' if you like. Hence why chavs all look like cavemen with dysentery and bad acne.

  • This band destroys all

  • BEASTLY!!! FUCKING AWSOME!!!

  • fuck those ending screams contain so much emotion always gives me goosebumps

  • Same, it's awesome.

  • ...it's 'ilahi, ilahi, lamba sambachthani', meaning 'my god, my god, why hast thou forsaken me?'

  • language? :p

  • aramaic

  • It's 'Eli' (hebrew) or 'Eloi' (aramaic) 'lama sabachthani' (aramaic) why hast thou forsaken me?

  • potatoes, tomatoes, splitting hairs, pal.

  • @MetalMilitia696

    hebrew

  • @MetalMilitia696

lamba samba? I sense a troll.... lol

And I'm not sure but I think it's aramaic, which is related to hebrew.

  • @MetalMilitia696 old aramaic

  • @MetalMilitia696 aramaic, supposedly lamba sabachthani is Christs last words he spoke on the cross; if you didn't know that^^

  • That's one of the best riffs I've ever heard

  • ELOI! ELOI! LAMA SABACHTANI!

  • Love their vocal arrangements. So much different!

  • best song ov the album...

  • the new anaal nathrakh album is better than the rest!

  • eloi, eloi, lama sabachthani?? great!

  • great song :X

  • Got this one...actually I have all their albums lol. Fucking shreds like a beast. I finally got to see them live on the 2nd May 2008 in London. Amazing energy and the wall of noise that assaults you is just insane. Posted up vids from it on here.
