I am a dual blade, and I was wandering what’s batter:

A heavily scrolled Blizard (55 attck, 30 avoidability, 3 dex, 5 luck, 7% critical hit, and +50% attck bonus) vs. a regularly scrolled shinikata (71 attck) I really don’t know which one’s better. Plz response and give me ur opinion. ty

mages are great on the arms of Zakum....their damage overall when bossing exceeds all classes on the arms, but then they get passed quickly on the body.

Their damage just owns shadowers and it only owns them at things they are elementally strong towards. In other words, if you're using holy charge at a Zakum, a shadower will out damage them.

Even then, Hero >>> Paladin simply because they don't need charges and because combo makes their attacks x2.5 times stronger. Let's not forget that brandish attacks two times at three monsters at a time at a very high speed. Now a Hero can out damage a shadower and bishops.

Agreed agreed, watch what you say tho, first you say they hit 3 monsters and then you say they hit x2, a hero with br30 can hit about 15k-15k at 14x at 3 monsters, a shadower with max bs can hit about 12k-12k (not dexless) at 14x, but then at 4 monsters

My Hero is 144 and does 23-25K x2 at 3 Monsters, with a StoneTooth. I outdamage even my friend's 154 Shadower easily. And Boomerang Step is really slow and cant be spammed, only combo'd. A hero with a stonetooth can hit almost 2 brandishes per second, with speed infusion, SE, and an apple, very few jobs can surpass a Hero. Though I am working on a Paladin myself.

your right about outdamaging most other classes when its against a mob but almost any pally will outdamage you 1v1 especially against elementally weak/with the new patch

l'm pretty sure Bishops hit 15 monsters with genesis.

They do, but sadly, Bishops don't get in on the action when bossing comes around. Heck, even fire/poison and ice/lightning mages can pack a punch at bosses. Sure, Bishops genesis at Zakum is way more useful, but a 14X F/P or I/L can hit 20k-30k with their single strikes. Add an elemental wand + lucklessness and you'll heve a solid 30k or higher. 30k+ per second... Delicious. Not to mention more stable than a Paladin's Blast skill.

not true blast is just as unstable as brandish, especially for sword paladins. the only unstable blast damage really comes from bw users.

Paladin for... Uh... Versatility, I guess. They can grind the fastest after level 138 or so too. (Max Holy Charge + Max Blast at Skelegons <3)

Wow... completely unbiasedly, blahhh, the paladin looks as fast, if not faster.

It's hard to force yourself to not think like this, but most people do:

They think each slash of brandish is a separate attack, which is why they think it's faster, which it isn't. So far the two skills look around just as fast as each other (of course by default I'm talking about ACB), but blast looks even faster.

Wow. Finally, we got a Paladin w/ Ribgol video.  Looks like the speed is somewhat behind compared to a Hero. The stun and Blast make up for that though. :D
