If you want to get it perfect, look at my video of Dennis Chambers playing So you say. The cowbell part wasn't that loud and it used more of the tip of the stick. It was great though. Also just watch the speed.

I respect the groove. Terrific playing keep doing what you are doing. Its nice to see some practical playing on Utube as opposed to impractical grooves and useless hand speed you cant use very much of, check that you should not use unless youre soloing and i am a drummer been playing for about 20 years(since i was 5) And i hate drum solos. Play in the pocket dont rip a hole in it!!!

the thing that's scary is that Mr. D.C. played that original groove (and its idiosyncratic fills/rolls) off the top of his head... now that's musicality!! this is too rehearsed and unnatural!

no way. Im sure Dennis Chambers thought up that groove and practised it. Obviously they rehearsed the song before they recorded it for the DVD. Besides, this sounds pretty groovy to me
