I watch the film last night, its now ordered on DVD along with the sequel, I loved it!

May I recommend the Death Note seires, the main character from Battle royal is in that too, its fantastic and i think you'll love it.

Your summary of Battle Royale kinda sounds like the book Hunger Game's plot. You should read it!! I think you'll like it :)

It's about this capital city that's surrounded by twelve districts and every year 2 tributes are reaped from each district to fight to the death in an arena in the capital city. Like gladiators! And it's like entertainment for the capital folk. REad It!! :3 That's Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
