First of all I have a very large family in Quebec. Almost all of them do not speak english. Even the younger generations can barely speak english. Many people I meet there when visiting family do not speak english. When my parents moved to the US, they could not speak english.
Second of all, Quebec was captured during war by the english. Quebec is a conquered nation struggling to survive and keep it's culture intact. Canada shoudl be catering to them, it's the least they can do.

I believe that both the Dominion of Canada and it's Province of Quebec would be much better of if the Quebecois were to be assimiliated into Anglo Canadian Culture and that the Province of Quebec should be Anglicised to make it no differant from lets the Provinces of Alberta and Ontario. What a stupid rant. It's the gaming industry that decided to sell the games in french in Canada. The government simply wrote a "recommendation", that respects what the gaming industry is ready to do. No one in Quebec or Canada asked to have "La boîte Orange" for everyone in Canada. EA decided to sell "La boîte Orange" for everyone in Canada. Yes, Quebec has weird laws/rules but this time, it's EA faults. So please, next time, get the facts right before ranting.

I think it's time to put Quebec out of it's misseray by assmilitating it just like what Lord Durham recomended in the first place. Had the British and later Canada been tough on the Quebecois and forced them to assimiliate in Anglo-Canadian Culture and Language we would not be in this mess we are today, however like it or not Quebechois, you language is on lifesuport and only such laws like Bill 101are keeping it alive, but even like people who die on Lifesupport, so to would your language.

I believe that both the Dominion of Canada and it's Province of Quebec would be much better of if the Quebecois were to be assimiliated into Anglo Canadian Culture and that the Province of Quebec should be Anglicised to make it no differant from lets the Provinces of Alberta and Ontario. The Dominion of Canada and it's Province of Quebec would be much more united, happier, peacefull, tranquil, harmonous and generaly much better if Quebec abandoned French and adopt English as their Language.

The British and Canada did not kill French Canadian Culture in the Province of Quebec. Under the Constitution Act of 1867 both English and French were made Official Languages of Canada and Quebec, this act gave equality to both Languages, however I do recall the Quebecois repaid the British and Canada for securing and protecting the French Language by removing English as an Official Language and by establishing anti-English Language Laws like Bill 101 and the OLF to Oppress English in Quebec.

That's far from being down for the count, unless you're an idiot who don't know that 45% is really close to half of Québec citizen. When you check on the quebec residents that speaks french (and english too, most of the time), it reaches over 60% support.

@iateutube Dude you have no idea what Quebec is like, less people speak English in Quebec then they do in almost any European country. Monolingualism is extremely high because of Government efforts to restrict learning of the language and exposure to it via Bill 101 and through very poor English instruction in schools. For example, English can not be displayed in public on commercial signs or advertisements, and it's not permitted for a French or immigrant kid to go to an English school.

@sseanyboyy Knowing English is certainly an asset, but that attitude that English is superior to French in the ROC is the driving force of the problems here in Quebec. English is useful for certain professions but you can make a fine living doing some things without having to learn too much English. But it's not because you have so much concern for the job prospects of people who's English is less than excellent in this BILINGUAL country that you say that. It's because you're an ROC separatist.

Actually, using gender on every noun permit to be clearer.
Also, usually, when something has a gender, French language has a feminine and a masculine form, but in some cases, the word Mâle or Femelle is added after the noun (Une mouche mâle)
I could conclude by that, that French language is more complex than English,
