I really enjoy listening to the late Mother Willie Mae Smith. Whenever I listen to her or watch the Say Amen Somebody movie, it really touches my heart. I see the purity of her loving the Lord. Again, watching her and the person(s) who participated in the movie Say Amen Somebody touches me deeply. My soul is always lifted with strongly by Mother Willie Mae Ford Smith and the other artist.
Oh, geeze, my brother singing that Trust in God song, has parted the Red Sea in his head. What a deep part my brother. I am sure today, his hair is different since it has been over 20 years ago.
I agree with Mother Smith. If you're going to sing the Gospel, you must be sincere. I was taught that no matter how gifted you are, your character must be in line with the Word because in the end, it's your character that will keep your where your gift takes you.
