I tried building this, and it works great, except for one problem: When the fish fall, they land on the piston arms and when the ice retracts, they wind up on top of the ice, on top of the trapdoors. Any advice?

Ok now maybe its just me.. but when i place the fish down and then 2 ice blocks, 2 things happen,

1. The fish pop above the ice or out of the sides.

2. the ice melts into water

If you used something less valuable than fish, like cobblestone or dirt, on the outside pressure plate (that no one ever sees), then it'd be even more attainable for survival players.
