Yeah. Dooku and Grievous alone killed off a lot of Jedi, directly or indirectly. Eg...Arena Battle Ep II - Dooku predicted the Jedi Order would throw its weight around and send every availaible Jedi. Thusly Dooku set up a trap to have the Jedi pinned down and slaughtered by waves of Battle Droids. He also killed many others in duels during the Clone Wars. As for Grievous...we all know his record with Jedi! And as for the Clones - Battle Droids = 5 Quintillion vs Clones = unspecified, 100 to 1?

The clone wars had no side nore winning side. Darth Sidious the greedy man used both side but he wanted the republic to win so the sith could futfill their wishes to control coruscent. Beside Sidious give CIS infos and then give the Republic infos so basically he was the one deciding who wins or who lost. actually the only losing side in this war were the jedis, the CIS and the republic Democracy and Ideals. but the Deathstar and the darktroopers are the remaining of the CIS power.

Though they were proud to be part of the CIS, by the end of the conflicts they were really fighting for their own worlds. The CIS never lost the war, Palpatine made them lose, Palpatine told grievous location, Palpatine let dooku die, Palpatine let anakin execute the Separatist Council.

I love the CIS its my favorite faction. I don;t get how thwy lost the war they had the two most powerfull leaders in the galaxy. All this was through the intervention of the Emperor.

The campaign would have been short and the Republic would have lost little. Instead Palpatine insisted that they taim the smaller less powerful Sep. worlds and supporters first (just as he planned. Remember the war was his doing.)
What you people fail to concieve is that both Republic and CIS were controlled by the same person(kinda reminds me of our own world) So there wasnt any real war. Not a bad video, i like the song you picked, awesome how you had grievous at the begining, my personal favorite character of the star wars universe, though personally i prefer the clones myself, grievous and his bodyguards absolutely kicked ass though, they gave jedi's a run for their money after all and grievous killed many and took out a good sized group in the mini series that included two masters, needless to say though if people argue they're gonna hit a stalemate, any point can be argued

Millions of Clones supported by hundreds of Jedi Knights try to win a Galactic War against billions of ruthless droids. Tactics wont help you when your enemy have such crushing dominance. And above all, CIS have DROIDEKAS!!!!
Also think about losses each day of war cause to both sides.
There is no problem with producing large number of droids, all you need is Factory, energy and Materials. After one day you could have (in worst case) about ten fully operational droids from one factory! (and remember, CIS own many planets and hundreds of factories)
Now... every Clone must have years to grow and finish his training. Also they need food, water, separate weapon and armour...
...and to give them at least weapon. you again need factories, materials and energy. I know they are smart and they grow twice faster then normal human but, you still must wait about ten years before clone is ready to fight. Also during this war they were breeded only on one planet - Kamino.
Last thing you should think about is experience. CIS have many experienced leaders, like Grievous. While Republic must count on Jedi (who, as we all know, are not a true war experts -_-")...
... Clone Captains are just lucky they survived long enough to learn anything cause on Kamino thet've seen only simulations which have nothing to do with true war.
Republic should think more about terminator project instead of Clones army :)
The only reason why CIS have lost this war is DarthSidious who orderd Anakin to kill Confederacy leaders and shut down droid army.

I agree with almost all of Curmbugeon statements. The Republic was corrupt, and ineffective. They knowingly sided with slavers and the sort to make some more money for themselves (The Kaleesh/Yam'rii (Huk) conflict). The CIS was formed to start over, and do better. That's often ignored in the Clone Wars show and just about everyother work. In America, the civil war was mostly caused by the dispute over slavery. But state rights and such were a cause as well. I'm all for rights, but slavery=lame.
the jedi were nothing without the clones. look at the battle of geonosis. battle droids were pawning them. the republic would had lost the war ages ago if it were not for there clone army

Potentially, yes. The IGBC Frigates had those massive cannons on the front, that could blast a Venator to peices. But, the Venator is with the Republic, and following with standard Clone Wars rules, the Republic must always win.
The CIS had the best tech in the CLone Wars. Plan and simple. In space, it was pretty equal but on the ground, the CIS had tech that could make an AT-At turn tail.
So? The CIS had things that could WTFpwn those troops. Tri-Droids. B3 Battle Droids. Carato Commando Droids. Magna Guards. Protodeka. Annahilator Droid. Shall I go on?

The CIS never lost the war in fact it ws decently holding its ground. The point is once the Republic turned into the Empire the was no need for the CIS.

Not a bad video, i like the song you picked, awesome how you had grievous at the begining, my personal favorite character of the star wars universe, though personally i prefer the clones myself, grievous and his bodyguards absolutely kicked ass though, they gave jedi's a run for their money after all and grievous killed many and took out a good sized group in the mini series that included two masters, needless to say though if people argue they're gonna hit a stalemate, any point can be argued

If you think about it, the only true reason that the CIS lost was because Palpitine (spell?)
ordered Anikin to kill the Separatists council and to spread the word to shut down all remaining droid units... if that wasn't the case, they, or we ( I like to feel involved) may have very well won.

Also think about losses each day of war cause to both sides.
There is no problem with producing large number of droids, all you need is Factory, energy and Materials. After one day you could have (in worst case) about ten fully operational droids from one factory! (and remember, CIS own many planets and hundreds of factories)
Now... every Clone must have years to grow and finish his training. Also they need food, water, separate weapon and armour...

...and to give them at least weapon. you again need factories, materials and energy. I know they are smart and they grow twice faster then normal human but, you still must wait about ten years before clone is ready to fight. Also during this war they were breeded only on one planet - Kamino.
Last thing you should think about is experience. CIS have many experienced leaders, like Grievous. While Republic must count on Jedi (who, as we all know, are not a true war experts -_-")...

I agree with almost all of Curmbugeon statements. The Republic was corrupt, and ineffective. They knowingly sided with slavers and the sort to make some more money for themselves (The Kaleesh/Yam'rii (Huk) conflict). The CIS was formed to start over, and do better. That's often ignored in the Clone Wars show and just about everyother work. In America, the civil war was mostly caused by the dispute over slavery. But state rights and such were a cause as well. I'm all for rights, but slavery=lame.

The reason?...Because the CIS were defending themselves. The Republic became too corrupt and they felt it was the only solution.
Compare it to the American Civil War;
CIS=South(Rebels)<--Defending their rights,land, and freedom.
Republic=North(yankees)...Trying to take it. Plain and simple.

The Republic didn't beat us at every battle. The CIS had a great number of victories, just they are never shown, because not alot of people are interesting in their side of the conflict. Republic this, Republic that... Never any room for the CIS.

Potentially, yes. The IGBC Frigates had those massive cannons on the front, that could blast a Venator to peices. But, the Venator is with the Republic, and following with standard Clone Wars rules, the Republic must always win.
