  • Bill Moyers is awesome and covers the truth not the lies of the right wing nuts

  • Donna Smith I"m proud of you.... Your a strong women and you keep doing your thing .... Millions of people that are ok with the current system have simply not gotten sick.... Keep fighting Donna ...

  • Nobody i think is ok with the current system. Its more a fear of the new one.

While I agree with Ron Paul, its not a good time to make huge transitions in a state of national bankruptcy, I stronly disagree with him when he says its unconstitutional, imoral and socialism doesnt work.

If americans would get over their own faith in their own superiority and actually look abroad they could simply just adopt the model that France (and the rest of us) use. Which has worked very well for 100 years.

  • Max Baucus is a piece of crap.... He's such a sell-out to his own country...

  • Donna....talk to the "multitude" of Certified Nurses Aides that are suffering from inadequate health-care facilities while they are working within that same industry. It is a joke that people who take care of patients needing health-care are working at the poverty level.

  • We left England in 1620 to get away from this type of problem.....it followed us here. WOW.... if you are eating a Thanksgiving meal and are focused on the profitability side of this issue......you have lost the true meaning of Thanksgiving. Capitalism is definitely allowing "some" people to become rich....but they are not allowing others to improve........think of it as "survival of the fittest".......it is clearly evolution.....what would Jesus, Mohamed, or any other caring person do????

  • Ego=capitalism

Even so, socialism isn't the answer.....France, England, and Canada already have the answers we have been fighting. Lord forbid America is behind someone else.......we have MANY models...what is the problem other than certain individuals will not be able to have their "high" standards of living......selfishness and health-care do not mix.

  • i wish barack obama would exert some pressure on these goddamn politicians.

do what you were elected to, mr president; fix this mess!

  • "Public Representatives" no longer exist. You vote for whoever will be owned by the corporations, not for who will represent you. Prime example: Max Baucus. This senator received four million dollars in insurance lobbyist money. What did that buy? He dropped the public option, and his bill requires All Americans to buy crummy private insurance with deductibles so high you will still go bankrupt!

    Thanks, Baucus.....

  • the "independent" guy in 5:44 is a socialist (yes, officially, he says he's a socialist) and that's why I love him <3

  • If you are American and your country is screwing you out of either pension or healthcare. Come to europe, settle down in any decent coutry of your choosing and start enjoying life. Free schooling up to University, healthcare for all. Including all kinds of operations and medication. And obviously. Everyone has a pension. Companies cant gamble away your pension fund here or lose it on the stockmarket. Americans are welcome in Europe and we speak english aswell. Its ugly the way USA works now.

  • Moving away would only solve our personal issues, staying and speaking out against our vermin will solve the issue overall.

The simplest way of removing private healthcare, as a Democracy is to STOP feeding the pig. "We The People" hold the power.

  • I would love to say goodbye to the US forever but I am 62 years old and I don't think any country would take me. The biggest mistake I made in my life was returning to the US from Europe. I have regretted it every day since I returned. You are right--the US is an ugly country.

  • You are absolutely right! The BIGGEST mistake I ever made in my life was returning to the US from Europe three decades ago. I still hope to retire there. It will be nice to get away from all the right wing idiocy. Besides Europeans are generally better educated and more civilized.

  • @Janusha

I agree.... America has gotten to be a greedy ugly country.... It's not the American peoples fault it's the greedy leaders who think about there own pocketbooks... America has allowed the corporations to take over and bribe our leaders into keeping profit machines alive... REGARDLESS of the peoples suffering... It's truly pathetic and ugly.....

  • I discuss stuff alot. International politics, economy, business.. However when discussing such topics with americans they instantly leap forth to defend liberty and freedom, wave their flag and go OMG.. YOU HATE AMERICA.. at any hint of criticism. I have to ask... Is there no tradition for criticism in america? Criticising stuff is the only way to actually induce change and improvement. Its a pity really. Its very hard to conduct a civil conversation about proper topics with americans.

  • @Janusha

This is so true.... Were talking about fixing a broken health care system and people in America scream socialism and Hitler.... It really is ignorance and it's sad... In the meantime the health insurance industry will just keep lobbying and owning our congress.... Big money seems to rule our congress now day's....

  • I dont know where they get Hitler from in all this. Probably because american politicians pray on the naivity of the masses (teaparty type crowds) when they point at you dramatically from the TV and say YOU DONT WANT TO BE LIKE THOSE SOOOCIALIST COUNTRIES DO YOU !! Cleverly inprinting sooocialism into american minds right alongside nazism, communism, marxsism, faschism and several other words ending in -ism that they also have no clue what means. This is no way to do politics really.

  • They prey on peoples fear. In the case of the new health reform is the fear of having to pay for other peoples mistakes... other peoples illnesses. Instead of suing people for billions, now when you fall over in a shopping mall, you go to the doctor and have it fixed for free. But ofcourse USA is spending trillions trying to find their own way because their firm belief in their own superiority prevents them from looking at Europe and adopting their perfectly fine system which has run since WW1

  • @Janusha thank you

  • @Charlie12241

    Im glad you appreciate :)

  • Power to the people !!!

  • I was sprayed in West Tenn. for 7 years with malithion and I didnt live there aall by my self People ! I am sick now @ 46 and the Dept of UN-human services says I dont qualify I am not with child or a illegal!

  • I am in the nursing field, even all the physicians at my hospital want a single payer system...this is shame here in the US and the rest of the worldis shocked by our unhuman system.....and most idiots here who are against universal healthcare are the same people, who do not know what it is,means and does...

  • the only illegals are white europeons !

  • I was Refused Emergency Care @ a County, it was full of illegal's 2003. the Head Nurse told me WalMart & illegals Bankrupted the State care ,I had to go home and Die.I am Chickasaw and it on the Land we Lived on ! It was a Slap in my face , I will NEVER FORGET IT !

  • Max Baucus is trying to take the "PUBLIC OPTION" off the table in regard to healthcare insurance! Please everyone, write him and ask how much lobbying money he has accepted from the health insurance industry. He is also in bed with the GOP, make sure this guy is exposed. He IS NOT working for the American people, we have already taken single payer off the table, let us not give in anymore. We need RADICAL reform to our healthcare insurance system. Please write him!

  • It's called "Oligarchy" kids..and those with old money would see the earth burn before the unbalance is balanced. Poetry...pure poetry.

  • Pretty much.

  • u still believe insurance companies exist to take care of our problems ?....really ?....LMAO..... like when oil companies say : ''we care''..... after an oil spill - come on people, wake the fuck up !! otherwise ''THEY'' are not doing it to you , YOU are...

by the way get over that irrational polarization that anything not kissing big business's ass is left wing - that's an old argument used by totalitarian regimes : if you are not for me , you're against me - very convenient but daft

  • I'm Amazed how some of these idiots are just led by collar unto ruin.....We have a government now who can't effectively run MEDICADE, FDA, SOCIAL SECURITY etc. and here we have morons that want to give the government more responsibility to be Irresponsible!!.....By her own admission she doesn't want health care hampered by "Red Tape". Yet historically it's been federal mandates that have done just that.

  • I find it impossible to understand Americans. The things that companies and politicians get away with boggles my mind. Your own government does the most dreadful things to it's citizens and yet they get elected. You guys seem to vote against your own interests and nobody seems to care about anybody but their own interests. How do the rich and powerful stay in power, when the average person makes up the vast majority? I feel sorry for Americans, they just don't seem to understand or care.

  • I feel sorry for people living in the USA. U call yourself a democracy when u really is a country run by capitalists and lobbyists. In Sweden ,where I live, healtcare is free for EVERYONE without inscurance. A healthy life is a human right! In sweden lobbyists is forbidden by law. Politicians are not allowed to be influenced by companies. They work for the citizens ,not the companies. USA have a very long way to go before it becomes a democracy.

  • Im also living in Sweden and can only agree with vanooten. We have problems with our system, beause we reformed it to be more like countrys like the US.

  • I am so proud of you medical professionals who actually care. Things have changed. Back when I was a young uninsured person I was treated like CRAP by doctors and nurses that I had to pay for myself. I am in tears watching this thinking that I might actually have hope to live to see my daughter marry and have grandkids. I won't until I finally get health care. I am so proud and inspired by you.

  • MEDICARE FOR ALL!!

  • I am wondering how the pharmacutical giants would fair under single payer. How would they hawk the patented and costly drugs?

  • I have degenertive disk desease and can not get medical help ! even though i have worked all my life i can not get help. if you are going to cuba again i want to go !

sucks to live in the U.S.A.

    Help me PLEASE !

They put dogs out of their misery for less pain than what i feel !!!

  • ME TOO. We can't really live here, but we have the freedom to die here!

  • In ancient rome if you were caught trying to bribe a public official they would cut off your nose, and place you in a bag with a wild animal then throw you in a river......now we incorporate it inot our system as a natural component

  • Fuck the corrupt congress and their padded chairs....what if they lost health care coverage instead of routinely padding their own wallets

  • The cost of health care is projected to reach $4.4 trillion by 2018. There is a lot of room for corporate profiteering in the increasing cost of health care. The millions the health care industry has invested in Baucus and the Senate Finance Committee could therefore turn out to be very profitable.

  • HOw stupid must montanans be to elect this lobbyist patsy. Start screaming Montana. Threaten this piece of shit with immediate recall for christs sake. Him and Harry Reid - GET RID OF THEM!!!

  • Why can't the american people get out and riot and protest this butt-fucking were going to get with this health plan. My god are we so afraid to tear this vile corrupt government down. Are ancestors went to war in a revelution for a lot less. Wake up people.

  • I am disgusted by the American system of greed.

Thank goodness I live in England where my health care is free. If you think we have cold, dark hospitals with poor equipment, think again. Our hospitals are state of the art!

I lived in New York for 5 yrs and was shocked at the state of American hospitals! Our 'socialised' system is FAR superior to America's.

Americans need to get out in the street and protest, protest protest!

The rich are ripping your off and you'll pay with your life!!!!

  • I totally agree unfortunately Americans want absolutely everything for nothing..gone are the days of mass protest, gone are the days!

  • That's the only issue. America is too profit-centric to have anything like NHS, people don't realize that pharmaceutical and insurance companies have lobbied and lobbied to tilt legislation in their favor. Completely closing the doors from stockholders is pretty much allowing them to run as rampant as possible with lobbying. As much as I would love it, serious reform needs to be done before NHS should even be considered.

  • My favorite part of this show was the clip they showed after this clip at the very end. Baucus hems and haws when asked why single-payer won't come up for consideration. More or less he says it just isn't going to happen because the insurance companies have bought the Senators. That is the clip I'd want to see on YouTube. (I'm looking...)

  • Alhough I was paying $650 per month for private insurance I had to argue almost every time I needed something.

Once the doctor recommended I have some tests, but the "insurance person" in another state said he didn't think I needed them. I told the doctor to tell him I was staying at the hospital until I got them. After much arguing the ins company finally agreed.

I quit that crap & went to the local VA Hospital where they run tests if I say I think I need them & have received good care.

  • and how are low income people suppose to be able to pay that much for health care?

  • Insurance companies tell doctors how to treat and deny care to make money. Blood Money!!

  • Single Payer NOw!!

  • Do you folks in AMERICA see all these comments from other countries with "SOCILAIZED MEDICINE" ?? Don't listen to the propiganda about Socialized medicine to make you fearful. You don't know how good it feels to pull out a card and say" I'm sick and I want free treatment".LISTEN TO OBAMA or get sick and poor at the same time.GOD BLESS CANADA AND MY HEALTH CARD :0)........

  • "Exploit the system": Epidemics are spread by folks who can't get treatment easily. See typhoid, swine flu, etc. Health care for all will benefit all.

    And...

I'm not surprise the gov't is not talking to the experts on this. Money talks. But this is at least a step in the right direction.

  • I lost all respect for Moyers when I found out he was outing gays for President Lyndon Baines Johnson.

  • all these socialist think the other guy is gonna pay for deadbeats.......anything free will be exploited.........no let the fuckin government decide whats best for you.. dumbass liberals and their utopia

  • Your free market Utopia is not working out to well for 45 million Americans

  • Many of those Americans CHOOSE not to have insurance because they would rather spend their money on flat screens and new cellphones.

  • Our only Utopia is a world where ignorant worms like you DO NOT EXIST!

Mankind becomes more liberal, they will be more apt to allow that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the community are equally entitled to the protections of civil government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality.

    -George Washington

  • I'm not sure what system you are talking about, but this insurance system we have in America is insane. Wouldn't it make more sense to just go to the doctor (without even making an appointment), waiting less than an hour, and pay a reasonable rate? This is totally possible. It isn't some wacko socialist thing that's going to cost every one millions of dollars. You can see the same doctor if you want to. This system exists in other countries and it works.

  • What is the value of humans and is the right to healthcare a human right, if it is it must be guaranteed and a single payer system is the only option sorry.

...and polling in the US has shown that the american public does think that healtcare is a hunman right so... whats the problem?

  • Mark my words! If we go to a single payer, government based system, these same doctors and nurses will be in the streets again complaining about how little the government pays them. It is the government that has caused the problems in the health care system through programs like Medicare.

  • how do dumbfucks like you even manage to breathe?

doctors on the streets? are you fucking kidding me? our doctors are doing fine, we've had "socialized medicine" decades.

  • German doctors march in protest at health cuts

    Heidelberg Annette Tuffs

More than 20 000 doctors in Germany shut their practices last week and marched through Berlin to demand changes in the healthcare system, better pay, and less bureaucracy. And they said that strikes and protests would continue until politicians took action.

  • and you don't think that doctors not being paid enough is better than patients paying for private health care in vain due to corperate greed?

i'm not saying that socialized medicine is the solution, denmark has too much bureaucracy too.. But having lived in the states and Denmark i can tell you i'd pick socialized, any fucking day of the week. while not perfect, the idea that it is based upon is much more sensible than the idea that there's money in people well being, therefore it can improve.

  • There are several problems with socialized medicine that go far beyond patient care. Who do you think researches, develops, and brings to market ALL the new drugs in this world? Private, for profit, drug companies! Who do you think is going to invest a billion dollars on NEW possible drug, when they cannot afford to pay for the existing drugs patients' are taking?

  • see that's what you'd like to believe but if joe learned some common foreign economics he'd know he was wrong.

i don't want to brag about denmark again, but since you give me no option our medicine market is one of the biggest ones their is. Novo nordisk, a danish company develops tons of new products which scandinavian countries mainly, which especially scandinavian countries buy. novo nordisk didn't gro on corporations, it grew on socialized medicine.

  • I hate to break this to you but your danish company markets its products in 179 countries. I wonder how many of those countries have price controls on their drugs? Tell me, does Denmark have price controls? I wonder what is the US sales numbers for Novo Norkisk? How much profit do they make selling their drugs here in the US?

Many countries can have socialized medicine because America pays for the R&D on the drugs they buy at just above cost. You need to learn ECONOMICS period.

  • haha you're mixing two things together here, let me help you:

when a company such as Novo nordisk makes a product the sales terms of the product is decided through who uses the product. say they invented a drug for all cancer patients. naturally they'd charge a pretty huge price for it. in countries such a DK the state would buy it at it's price because everybody chips in, cancer or no cancer. where as health care companies need to use the profits they have from cancer patients alone... joe.

  • Do you honestly think that Novo Nordisk would be in business if they could NOT sale their drugs at a profit? The state buys their drugs at a discounted price because Americans PAYS the higher price. The company could not exist on the slim profit, if any, paid under socialized medicine. If the US goes to socialized medicine and removes the profit motive, there will be no new drugs. Look at vaccines for example. How companies in the world make them now?

  • yes in fact i know they could because i know what socialized medicine is, whereas you clearly don't. You're thinking a communist state and obviously if everybody went in to a mercantalistic economic position the companies would collapse. there are loads of private corporations that buy new medicine here, and there should be even more. the best way is to let them drive themselves by greed, but let the state step in between them and the people, so that they can

  • [CONTINUED]

profit from the states. NN doesnt have the power nor the knowledge of mass production, the health care companies do. when they sell the products they buy to all the "socialized" states they make a profit, no not as much as they do when they're allowed to kill people for profits but profits none the less.

you think that corporations can't work when they're given barriers. you're wrong. corporations are like weed. they can grow anywhere.

  • Respectfully, that is where you are completely, 100% WRONG. Corporations cannot grow everywhere. They have to make a profit to stay in business. No one is "killing people for profit". There is no profit is killing your customers. Drug companies sell their products to make a profit. When it takes a billion dollars of investment to research, develop, and market a new drug, there must be a payback to the company for the risk. Without the profits made in the US no company survives.

  • So what you're saying is that without america, no corporation would exist, listen to yourself! Of course companies can survive in a world with limited profits, they just won't be as big as before, maybe research at start will be less efficient, but it won't kill health care buisiness, the world isn't black and white, just because you aren't soaking in profits doesn't mean you're gonna dry out.

oh really? ever heard of mc donalds in Dubai? or cigarretes in norway. corporations will always manage

  • Now you know that is not what I said. I said that countres with socialized medicine rely on the US to make their drugs and pay for the R&D costs. Look at Canada as an example. How many Candian drug companies are there that sell only in Canada?

I am not worried about the companies surviving. Though, that is a valid concern, as evidenced by the vaccine problem. I am concerned that none of them will develop new drugs for the future. They will not take big risks for minual rewards.

  • Well then all you have is really just speculation so basically this discussion is deadbeat. but i'll leave you with this. corporations haven't been around forever, and the world is still here, people will manage. And regarding profits, corporations will find a way to make just as much, i know they will, but i guess we'll have to gisagree on that.½

  • I will leave you with this thought. How many medical breakthrough have come from the government vs the private sector? Granted, health care costs TOO MUCH in America. The reason is that the GOVERNMENT promised free healthcare to Seniors and made the rest of us pay for it.

  • The CT scan was invented under the British socialized system - not in the USA. The VA (model of socialized medicine 'cuz the facilities are owned by govt. & providers are govt. employees) is now held up as the premier system in the US 'cuz they have clout to get good prices from suppliers and they have incentive to develop preventive care & are free from having to give 30% of every dollar to an unecessary middleman. The problems at Walter Reed were from private contractors - not VA employees.

  • I think that veterans would disagree with your assessment of the VA. There are numerous problems with the system. While they are free from the (30%) you claim, they waste billions of dollars themselves on administration themselves. Government run healthcare is just that government run, whether VA employees or contractors.

Inventing a machine is not the same as developing a new drug. If you are doctor, you should know that. As a doctor, are you willing to accept less compensation?

  • Business Week, July 17, 2006, "The Best Medical Care In the U.S.: How Veterans Affairs transformed itself - and what it means for the rest of us." Rand Corp. study found that VA pts, on average, received 2/3 of the care recommended by national standards compared with 1/2 for all pts at a sample of the nation's other hospitals.

  • So what is your point? The VA is better at giving substandard care than other hospitals. It should be giving superior care because it is TOTALLY government funded. Regular hospitals have to deal with insurance companies, the government, and the great "uninsured" population.

Come, Doc, you have to do better than that. By the way, you avoided my question. Are you willing, under a single payer system, to accept less compensation for your services?

  • Drug companies: facts thru Public Citizen, Commonwealth Fund & PNHP: Top 7 drug companies:

Marketing, Advertising, Adm. is 32% of revenue; R & D is 14% of revenue; Of that 14% taxpayers pay 4.7% through NSF & drug companies pay 7.1%; Of that 7.1%, 5.8% of it goes to applied testing, research on existing drugs & 1.3% goes to basic research to develop new drugs.

80% of new drugs produced are "me too" and not new drugs. Drug companies paid 750 million to lobbyists between 1997-2003

  • Well, I am not a doctor, but 4.7 and 7.1 doe not add up to 14%. Also, where, in your numbers, are the legal and settlement costs drug companies pay for one or two people who will die from taking their drugs?

What does amount drug companies pay lobbyists have to do with anything?

Tell me, how companies today make vaccines?

  • Research what has happened to the companies that make vaccines thanks to Clinton's government program for children.

  • Don`t be scared, america you are not turning in to socialism or anything like that. im from Denmark and im going to have surgery next month, and it cost me nothing, it`s a very nice feeling...

  • So we have the morons on the right screaming that Obama's health care plan is pure socialism and will be the end of America as we know it. Then you have these people screaming that his plan is capitalist and doesn't care for the people. lol kind of amusing. Why not just give Obama's ideas a try?

  • THis is what Canadians think.Socialized medicine ROCKS.We can lose our jobs in this Depression but we won't lose our life from illness.

  • Australia agrees, even threaten medicare and we'll riot... Seriously...

  • So I guess we can say that it is the Congress and Senate's money needs that is payed by the sick and dying uninsured. Interesting.

We cannot talk on the merits because the merit argument demonstrates clearly that we are being ruled by lying sociopaths that think of the public masses as cattle to live off of..

  • Controversial for who? The Have-Mores that don't even need it. We Must Not be Forced To Submit to this Health Care System that Fleeces Us And Kills Us. Our Government via Sen. Max Baucus has proven in an act of Democratic Disobedience that the Health Care Insurance Industry will be served openly over the people. OUR COUNTRY IS CURRENTLY aBEING TAKEN OVER BY THE ELITE! KNOW WHEN YOU ARE BEING FORCED INTO OPEN AND PUBLIC SUBMISSION. KNEEL SLAVES!

  • Thank you for uploading this video. I don't think single payer will ever happen in the USA. The CEO's of healthcare will lose billions out of their pockets if that happened. I'm quite certain the CEO's of healthcare are paying every senator and congressman millions of dollars to stop this. Money talks BS walks.

  • Stop electing cowards!!!

  • Common Sense always says the truth: Obama & McCain: Only 2 candidates (representing the only 2 parties allowed to exist by the media in the USA) as the presidential choice for 250,000,000 people. We are no even 10% of that in New Zealand and we have about 6 parties that watchdog each other. The problem in the USA is that "Power is Centralized" It is easy to buy/lobbie one person than to buy 10. Sadly America is in deep shit! :(

  • Yup ur right, there is way to many corruption in usa gouvernement.

  • Obama is a politician and he's in the insurance companies back pocket.

  • I paid $7500 @17 years for BCBS of Tn. I got Vulva cancer in the 17th yr and they told us they would NO LONGER COVER CANCER IN ME AGAIN ! I only USED it ONE time In the 17th Year ! I paid over $100,000 in 17 years !

  • Gimme a Break

US Health Care is ranked 54th world wide

  • Everyone knows that the insurance industry will legally bribe the politicians

And US medical schools are among the worst medical training in the world, (they only push the memorization of frivolous & disjointed factoids - And not how the body works or how to "find" the facts)

  • Health care must be non profit. Health Insurance companies act like a mob(legal of course). Those who arrest innocent decent health care professionals are police of health Insurance companies who protect their interest. Anybody believes that public health is in the interest of those companies?Gotta be real naive. Many industrialized countries have state controlled universal health care, such as Scandinavian Countries. We are richer than them but our government surrendered to Insurance n drug mobs.

  • We should all stop paying our private health insurance and eat very healthy (Fruits & Vegetables) and not give one more dime to big corporations. Health care for profit is wrong.

  • Fruit and veg wont treat aids or cancer. Unfortunately, I am not in your situation, being british.

  • You rock Micheal! Can't wait for your upcoming doc on Global Warming!

We have the new Book Trailer of Opal's new OLD STRIPPER book. Come watch Opal's thoughts! We'd love your feedback!

  • as a staunch democrat, i LOATHE max baucus -- he should be sent back to his state IN SHAME!!!

  • We the people must destroy corporate american and our political prostitutes . they willscrew us even more than they are now. we must rise up and take our contry back by revolution. The people in power our laughing at us. they know they have the power and will give us a little bit to make us happy, but they will screw us even more. Rise up americans and take our country back.

  • Go Michael Moore I loved your movie SICKO even though it was VERY DEPRESSING :( Hopefully we can get the ball rolling here soon, and push this through! I'm so sick of cooperate companies screwing people.... Then republicans go out there and say you should be thankful for that job that pays you shit, and if they could pay you less they would! People that take advantage of the system when they can I don't blame them! Greedy cooperate ASSES have been doing it FOR DECADES!!! Thank you Moore!!

  • This is another smymptom of the CORPORATOCRACY Ralph Nader and Ron Paul warned us about.

  • Just a FYI, the "proper" term is plutocracy.

  • Corporatocracy is rule by corporations. Plutocracy is rule by the rich.

    Take your pick.

  • .... as if there is a difference?

  • If I have a billion dollars that makes me rich. It doesn't make me a corporation. GM is a corporation. GM is not rich.

  • lol show me a single poor corporation that influences the government. GM *used* to be very rich, and that is why they have the influence they currently have. Pretty much irrelavent if they're broke now...

  • so when should the mass suicide begin

  • We don't need a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

  • *symptom

  • dennis the menace kucinich got your back

  • Six years ago Sen. Obama said one they have the White House, Senate and Congress only then will Single Payer happen. Now, we have all that and President Obama doesn't even have Single Payer on the table.

Why? The Health Insurance lobbyists are the biggest contributers to the politicians campaign funds!!!

  • To get the President on board we must get the woman behind the man on board.

Come on Oprah, get on board with Single Payer Health Care.

  • Yes... go Oprah!

  • We need Michael Moore to go on Oprah or at least contact O.

If O dedicates an hour to Single Payer Health Care as did Bill Moyers, the President will follow.

  • Thank you, Michael Moore. Please never stop fighting for Americans.
