  • Great story I have family who were buried twice but dead on both occasions...but thats a tale not for this page.

  • I love graveyards. When I was in high school I used to skip school and go hang out in a local graveyard and smoke joints and read. I love the serenity.

  • aHA! There IS life after death! Wonderful history here, thank you for sharing :D

  • @southernraven1969 lookin forward to seeing it soon ...i,ve always had a thing for graveyards ??! and some of the tales on the headstones can really bring you back to the distant past even if its just for a moment ...one of my favourite Headstones said ..gentle passerby spare a while come sit with me- as you are now ,so once was i ,and you shall be as it is with me but to live in the hearts we leave behind is Not to die .just ...love and be ...

  • Great Stuff! Apparently there was a huge amount of soldiers buried during the 1st world war. When the graves were exhumed there was a very large % (from memory i think it was something like 1 in 3) were buried alive. They could tell by the scratch marks on the inside of the coffins lids.

Anyway thanks, very informative. Love it..
