Thumbs up if you agree this IS the way!

  • @MrLukeEllen Stevie we missyou - but hey, there is hope. Matt Schofield. I'm sure Stevie will enjoy his music as well.

PS: God, if I'm dead, make sure I'm at least in the same village as Stevie. Do you have a Fender shop up there? Just want to be sure to spend the infinity with Stevie.

  • @tiredlight

Haha totally agree!!! Jammin with Stevie up there!

  • @MrLukeEllen i look up to stevie ray vaughan. a lot of people have told me i play like him. i have played sweet home alabama in bars and stuff. im in the army and people have asked me why im in the army. so i would like your in put on what you think about it. just type in the search bar. jaketheman303. i also write my own stuff. tahnks

  • @MrLukeEllen oh that's impossible unless Mr. SRV come back from death .... :(

  • Keep watching man, wonder n Vaughn toured together n played it all the time. That's was sick.

  • I think S. Wonder is crying now, cause someone wrote his song...on new way, much better.

  • I wish I could have seen him in concert

  • Wow Double Trouble is killing it on this track

  • @chimbolo89 I'm glad someone else noticed how great DT was. As amazing as SRV was, DT was the perfect fit for him and rocked it throughout his career.

  • What a master

  • Steve Wonder - Superstition...

  • What's with the dog attached to the back of his head?

  • well i am very talented and open

  • SRV was Chuck norris' awesomeness professor in college

  • @Glaudge

But Chuck Norris failed the class, it was out of his league.

  • @brownston75

    very superstitious!

  • None of SRVs other axes have the muscle and mojo of Number One. You can really heard the difference...this guitar sounds so tinny compare to Number One. Could be the Mpl/Mpl neck...

  • @catboyzee123 Yea, I have a tele that has a maple/maple neck, I find it doesn't have the amount of balls my other axe does with a rosewood fretboard... Then again, I have a custom with a Wenge neck and Ebony fretboard, and it's awesome.... I think it's just a balance of warm and bright woods.

  • @JordnBee i have a maple/maple j bass and its much more ballsy then my maple/rosewood. :L

  • Comment removed

  • @catboyzee123

Its the strings. He had some thin bass stings on his number 1. I like his yellow tele too that he played in the early 80's. Didn't have the ball's of #1 but it screamed.

  • I hate helicopters :(

  • Stevie Ray Vaughans Hat kicked chuck norris's ass.

  • he loved hendrix so much he put a left handed neck on a r strat,

  • I was 3 in 87...but rock Stevie all day...no one like that! Awesomeness in it's ultimate form!

  • 72 people are not supersticious enough...=/

    what a shame

  • hihi I look like star!I have big eyes with love inside

  • srv makes 240p sound good.

  • 1987 was so lucky (born in 89 :(

  • @TheCenturySentry born in 94...=/

  • Rock n roll!

  • I recommend Choi Woo Joon - Jang nan III

  • he should be ON the dollar bill -I get what you're saying warrenleo 123412 !

  • stevie 4ever!!!

  • All I can say is WOW! A person could spend a lifetime and not achieve those heights.

  • are all Stevie's that good...ESPECIALLY in this song

  • I feel like SRV took Blues to a whole new plateau and ever since his death all anyone can do now is stand at the foot of that plateau and look up.

  • Key sounds used in the 80's I meant.....

  • Stevie is such a badass I'm watching him shread @ 4:30 am to learn rifts and I'm a professional keys player! To one of those last comments about snare-verb...... the keys sounds used, make the red curtain of rage drop over me, I think of dream theater and how those types of sounds ruined peoples perception of the keys when they rein supreme!

  • music took a shot to the balls when we lost SRV...period.

  • awful snare drum sound. Way too much reverb. The 80's drums mixing was disgusting. Stevie kicks arse though

  • @theSavageHippie

All 80's music has a savage amount of reverb on the snare... It's weird..

  • search baldy and burke they have great music, give this a thumbs up so they get the recognition they deserve!

  • hmz i love try new things and thats why im here

  • Incredible really!!! Loved it!! Joey Vaughan "World Blues Attack"

  • wow. absolutely amazing. I saw him on this tour - which I think was his last. What a talent.

  • This guy played at the first rock concert I went to ... along with Robert Plant.

  • Simply the Best...

  • 2:28 Justin Beiber sitting to the left bored

  • @sumindiandude kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • @sumindiandude lol... he looks jealous...

  • @sumindiandude Bieber wouldn't know good music if it came up and bit his ass

  • Respond to this video... The word Leg comes to mind I think his last years are an inspiration to people who want to kick drugs and alcohol Thanks Stevie for encouraging others to kick them things that eat us inside out and take away the real person inside

  • @sumindiandude jajajajajaja super!!!

  • @sumindiandude hahahah...and he left the concert at 2:49 hahhahah

  • hahah what a snare!!

  • Stevie Ray still lives in our hearts through his music; like Jimi, Jim Morrison, Janis, Bob Marley, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley..gifts to world, each one..a treasure to all us who love their music. Keep their spirits alive and spread the love! Music is the universal language of peace & love.. :-)

  • Menudo temazo...

  • It looks like his guitar neck is on upside down.

  • @TheBaddestRedneck Yea he flipped it around and played Jimi style. True beast

  • It looks like his guitar neck is on upside down.

  • Still not enough views...

  • Love it

  • Amazing ... This guy was sweating the blues by his fingertips ... It seems to me that I'm not gonna be able to play like this, no matter how hard I practice, cause it's not complicated, it's alive !!!!!!! For me Stevie deserves more than recognition or respect, he deserves eternal love ... Always in my heart, forever !

  • my no.1

  • looking at him,i realise that he was the only one real guitarist in the world(with jimi)

  • @aangfan100 what is real? that's just stupid. I am also a real guitarist....

  • @renspwn haha can you play like him?? oh i dont think so... saying real guitarist,i mean that we play guitar too but his play and our play is like lamborjini and opel astra... understand??

  • @aangfan100 by jimi you mean of course jimihendrex and page.

  • @kwaarrdadoggy yeah of course, page is great too but i mean hendrix

  • @kwaarrdadoggy Hendrix*

  • Why does everyone have to bitch about who is a better guitarist? Everyone changed music in an unbelievable way, they are all great and some with different styles of music. STFU and enjoy the music!

  • My friiend got see him live lucky bastard /:

  • fantastic song!

  • Gone, but never forgotten....

  • Stevie sometimes looked like a drowned rat, but his hands always looked as neat and clean as a surgeon's. Simply and undeniably a genius.

  • 死ぬほどカッコいい!

    superstitionは、レイヴォーンを好きになるきっかけの一曲でした。

  • I have guitarist friends who say some of Stevie's rythym riffs are as hard to play as anyone's leads.

  • What an amazing performer....such talent ....gone to soon....I can only imagine the music he would have continued to give us...

  • THAT SNARE!

  • that drummer kicks ass

  • 70 people only believe in superstitions.

  • that snare is sooooo brutal!

  • 70 guys cummed so much that they exploded and accidentally pressed the Dislike.

  • SRV KILLED IT!!!!!

  • over rated, hahahahahahahahaahha!!! Totally under rated!!!!!

  • Stevieeeeee! <3

  • he should be in the dollar bill

  • @warrenleo123412

He IS in the dollar bill...

in the back, it says "In GOD we trust", there he is.

  • @GodoyManda

    no thats clapton

  • @justin92348 Jimi Hendrix killed your god on stage

  • @bombranger dont come on an SRV video and talk about how much better jimi is than stevie, JIMI WAS HIS INSPIRATION of course he wouldn't be better but they are damn sure close!

  • @WhAtZCrAcKiNN the guy i responded said that eric clapton was the guitar god. i didnt say anything about SRV!

  • @WhAtZCrAcKiNN

I'm sorry, but Stevie Ray surpassed Hendrix a long long time ago...

  • @pokitaro I love them both, best in my opinon but if Jimi had lived to 35 like stevie, there would be no dobt he would come up with riffs and solos that surpass anything past or future.

  • @WhAtZCrAcKiNN

yeah its like saying einstein is better than newton

  • @warrenleo123412 Stevie bill

  • SRV en la bandera de USA

  • Everyone should stop to argue about who's the best guitarist, you should just listen to the awesomeness of this song

  • I would like to be "overated" like this man.

  • 68 people expected a hip hop son xD IDIOTS xD

  • nothing like some joe bonamassa and stevi ray vaughn to get my day rolling :)

  • Mr. Wonder would be proud. Very proud.

  • stevie took a good song and made it great.

  • @dmuse1981 No, Stevie took an awesome song and made it amazing.

  • P.S. Let's not argue about guitar gods...let's appreciate their fucking awesomeness. Okay well...if we must. Clapton is technically proficient, Page also, Hendrix, and Vaugh...but I like my guys a little sexy, a little messy, a little soulful. Once you know the rules, you can break them. What you're seeing Vaughn do is break the rules, the walls of that fucking venue, the minds of everyone watching him, and his fingers for the sake of ROCK!

  • @amatoanima You just won the best comment on the internet award good sir.

  • He's overrated...because he's fucking amazing. "Leonardo DiVinci is overrated." YEAH...because they're fucking masters of their craft. Idiot.

  • Who in the world would say SRV is overrated? SRV Gets down like no other.

  • SRV played form his soul. You can tell by the way he plays that it is just him and his maker communicating. He felt every note. He was a one of a kind, he set his own standard. The music world is better for it. Long Live Stevie.

  • @my87z28 Clapton is a retard compared to SRV.

jimmy page kicked claptons ass too just like jimi and srv

  • if your gonna believe in a god you could do worse than believing in SRV !!!!

  • Okay. Guys. Why does there have to be a "best guitarist"??? Music is spiritual expression, like someone talking. Jimi is of course going to talk differently than Stevie. So let them talk.

  • amazing......mindblowing, isn't it great when someone takes a great tune an makes a great cover??

  • Please, shut the fuck up everyone and listen to the video.

You all keep these stupid arguments up on every video ever then we wont have a comment page anymore.

  • SRV was on a level no one could reach.

  • Oh Yea

  • If you're going to make a cover version of a song, you should make it your own. Making a better soul/funk version of Superstition is impossible, but Stevie Ray Vaughn makes a pretty damn good blues/rock cover. Not quite my bag, but I can respect that.

  • EXCELLENT!

  • DEM DRUMS!

  • Masterpiece! ! !

  • This is fantastic. Is this show available in complete form on dvd?

  • SRV at the Wiltern Theater (Los Angeles) was the best concert I have ever seen in my life

I have been to many many shows in my life of 48 years, and yet that one show has not been topped for me.

It was a Fabulous Thunderbirds show, and he was a "special guest".

If anyone can testify, I would appreciate to hear you're opinion.

  • still excellent though
