@melman71980 You've convinced me to take my Niners stuff out of the trash... For now. On Sunday I thought they were going to lose again but Troy Smith pulled it off. He's our poor man's Michael Vick with his mobility and zippy passes. This season is torture but I will invest in some Advil and keep hope for the 49ers season.
I really hope that Alex has had his last snap as a 49er... this was supposed to be his year... he had continuity, decent Oline, pretty good receiving weapons, and a good RB, yet he failed and we started 1-6... same Oline, same WRs, and same RB with Troy and he's 1-0 here... I think the choice is obvious, Troy should start for the remainder of the season.... we also need to cut carr in this instant.... idk why we got him in the 1st place
we gotta see what Troy Smith has we can still come back and win this division. But Alex hasnt been consistent enough. Troy should be the starter for the next game against the rams.
@Koncept90 I think u need to listen to what I said homeboy I said when Alex Smith plays well. Troy Smith played about the same as Alex did when Alex played against Oakland. In no way am I saying Alex Smith is the man. I just want hope Troy Smith not to be a one game wonder.
FUK NO A.SMITH would'nt have played like TROY did @ Broncos.Everyone DAMN know's Alex would've got SACKED about 4 times and threw 2 pics and would've been out their runnin for his life.TROY came out almost perfect except for that Fumble but still got YARDS out of it...ALEX FUKIN SUKX, TROY IS THE STARTER NOW AND WILL STAY, I BEEN SAYING THIS SINCE WEEK 1.
I'm not torn I say lets roll with Troy. Troy has way more zip on his passes and he eludes the rush better. We still don't know what we have with him but lets give him a shot.
