Dammit, I really wanted the bowgun. Light bowguns are the only ones that can be easily used by beginners, which I am, I just hated medium and large ones! You can only walk and roll, it folds, so it takes enough time for someone to hit you while you un/sheathe it, I haven't had any problems with reload times, haven't tried the heavy one yet. But if the medium is meh I bet the heavy one can only be used in groups. Also, I wanted to try the hunting horn, bad developers, you took it off the game! =(

I use a Medium BG, and I love it. Be sure to check if the Frame you're using is folding (I specifically made sure mine didn't because like you mentioned, it's a pain). I've also heard Heavy guns are pretty terrible :[

oh my god guys stfu in the DEMO which it says on the title which half of you douchbags didnt read and in the demo you can choose like characters and he felt like choosing this one. and yeah so what if he sucks with the bowgun i suck with it and i still manage to get to the higher levels in the game. gosh quit complaining and actually play the demo before you comment on this.

no there are no bows.... but there will be medium bowguns... other weapons removed are hunting horns and dual blades....

There are no more Gunlances, Bows, or Dual Blades. The new Slash Axe retains some features of the gunlance, though.

I don't think so, but there's still alot of time till the game comes out. There's the katana-type swords in the game I've seen but only holding one not two : / , but it could happen.

No, there's not. There's just a Light Bowgun and a Heavy Bowgun confirmed so far.
