  • Ever Played the arcade version? 'Cause on the PSP, it'S REALLY hard, dunno if it's just the game or me , 'cause this version looks far fairer.

  • beat this game 2

  • The Song Opening Is My Favorite Song!!!^ ^

  • @Aceclade - There is a particular ROM image of 1943 Kai that's been hacked so that the weapon timer doesn't count down. That one immediately went to my Recycle Bin when I found that out. I don't remember the exact name of the ROM, but when I find it, I'll tell you which one it is.

  • @Aceclade

    original hardware and HuCard

  • Have that! YES!

  • I only played this on the NES. They never offered as many powerups as in this one, it looks like.

Spread Shot is broken as hell in the beginning, but then I switch to the Rapid Shot when you get the extra planes to help you.

  • Played it once, it's REALLY good. And the music is the sex.

  • i prefer 1942 arcade game

Capcom Classic Collection PSP and Xbox

    Capcom Generations PlayStation and Saturn

  • Oh man I need this one.

  • This looks like a pretty cool game.

By the way my name is Kai ^^ (I'm finnish)

  • My brother and I used to play this game back when it was on the Amega!! :) Nice upload. This brings back many memories and silly deaths!

  • The arcade version's music is what I've been trying to find on Galbadia Hotel, but even this one's got a close cousin. Thanks a lot!

Oh, and my favourite's the first level's music.

  • @SaviourV And I take back what I said about the first level's music...trying to get a remix of the SECOND level's music is proving to be quite a task here on YouTube. Never thought that level's music would affect me so much...:)

  • This looks really familiar. I think I played this in the arcade as a kid.

  • 1943 Kai is one of my favorite shooters. The music is excellent. Hearing the PC Engine version of the soundtrack is a real treat! Sounds great!

  • About stage 1-2 music, those are the best chord structures I've ever heard

  • If this becomes available on the Wii's Virtual console, I'm gonna get it! It's a great game and a true classic.

  • Wow great video I have actully played this game.
