hey there! I really want to dye my hair pastel purple or maaaybe pink, not sure yet. my hair is quite light red-blonde. Do you think I need to dye it blonde before I paint it pastel-ish??

@XxLevynxX I know you probably would of preferred Helen Melon to reply to you usually need extremely blonde/ white hair to go pastel shades, they look the best on a white base xxx

@slurpthesoap well she has extensions in right there because her hair isnt that long, so its partially extensions. The texture is cause her hair is fucked up from bleaching it so much xD i love it <3

i got the lavender directions, and diluted it with the conditioner, using quite a bit of the colour as i wanted it to be a bit brighter, but it hardly took to my hair at all, what do you suggest from here? i got the fanci ful silver lining rinse today, and am going to use it before i try the lavender again

right now i have a burgundy/maroonish color and i LOVE your hair and ive been wanting to do it for a while but im just really scared of at home bleaching and it would cost so much to go somewhere and get it done do you know how i could lighten it as much as possible then mabye slowly get it to a blonde color?

@behindhazeley3s id say just gradually lighten it, then you wont damage your hair, it might take a while, but at least you wont get damaged hair like mine! xxx
