I disagree with anyone saying that this type of episode was a bad move..or it was a real departure from the RGB plots..An anthropomorphic 'ghost-master' is a decent idea. It wasn't done as well as say the Boogie Man Cometh, but it would appeal to children who like ghost stories, and it makes for a bigger ghost realm or society (in the star trek sense), there being uncharted characters and cultures outside the central concept batttling ghosts in NYC.

After the first 2-3 seasons, there's only so much more you can explore the boundaries of the Straczynski-type ghost-intrigue stories. Vampires, boogie men, werewolves..parallel dimensions, high school reunions, a character became a cartoon dog! So later seasons got gimmicky, like after Tim Burton left Batman (but definitely not as far as Batman and Robin's crapulence) I I'll admit we never had Robin mumbling the Batman tune in a dopey way like 1:54 (even in the 60s batman lol)

This was a total embarassment to the series.Season 5 had some Gems like It's about Time but this episode and others like Till Death Do us Part,Kitty Cornered,Randsom of Green Spud,to name a few really lead to the series to go downhill and cancellation.

At 5:16 they cut the part where the Ghostmaster's bubbles enter the firehouse and search every room looking for the Ghostbusters then the scene changes to the guys entering the shop
