it prolly didnt hurt that lizard but you gotta admit that situation like that is extremely stressful to any animal, especially reptiles. i've handled snakes alot and best advice is to do that as little as possible. reptiles may even stop feeding when stressed and that can be fatal. ofc reptiles too have different personalities but wild animals are best left alone completely.
