this is 1,969 feet per minute, or a lil over 22mph which is haulin for an elevator. most elevators around do under 500 fpm until you go to really tall buildings.

@MrCarnage7 well if you at the top floor and while its going down jump and you will float for a few secs :D and i havnt been on this one the apartment where i lived in was 50 stories (and 2 floors down for undergound car park) and had a lift that got from the top floor to the 2nd level in the car park in in 30 secs when i jumped i was floating for 3-5 secs and this elevator is about twice the speed of that so im guessing yes you can

No not really. You have to be accelerating (speeding up) downwards at the speed of gravity to start floating around. Traveling at a constant speed does nothing. But when the elevator accelerates downwards you become lighter, but only by like 5 percent.
