I do "believe" (excuse the hideous pun there), that Cher was spending her final week at number 1 with "Believe" after her mammoth run at the top for seven weeks, before B*Witched knocked her off with "To You I Belong" the following week.

Whoops!! the date for this episode is the 10th of December 1998, not the 11th!! because TOTP was on Friday nights and also this was a late-night repeat the following night.
