aalso akheon, by HCB you don't have to use satvara's methos, originally discovered by vortex 72 of course. istead here is my faster way. use abl. it requires 0 pr's to jump over the barrier. dont let your height decrease, not even for a split second. this method is faster because you can just roll straight to the barier. useful. please post a vid.
. the timing is a bit tricky. wish i had the digital cam corder, i would post a vid. this method could also prove useful in other aspects of the game. you can try it too akheon, and put some interesting info in your glitch faq. the timing just before the enemy attacks you. you won't lose time if you just keep restarting until the enemy attacks you early. remember rotg is required. i'll try and find more skips. that's good right akheon? i'm trying to get the best time of 33 min!
ok akheon i will. your right. i already told satvara this:the cliffs of madness when u jumped on the ledge, then used abl to get across to the other side. video demonstration is sequence break at cliffs of madness. instead i just used rotg, waited at the right time just before the soldiers attacked me then my hieght and distance increased. which enabled me to get to the other side with only double jump, thats why this new method is faster. please try it and post a vid

I got them at the same place where the video "Makeshift harpy fountain" takes place. I don't think making a video would be worth it, since three harpies stuck at once isn't easy to get (I've managed in it only once), and they're very hard to see behind the statues.
the best place to use the "jump" is at the Athens Town Square part because after the girl falls of the balcony on the right is tons of boxes of red chests but they are out of reach and u need to be able to "jump" up there but its too "high", if u use this jump u can open all of the chests.
I just tried this out and with regenerating magic I can't go as high as you because my magic bar is too short. So, it seems you must wait until you get enough phoenix feathers. I tried tapping O to extend the time between PR activations but I still run out eventually.
The height isn't very big, I tested it out with DB. If you start jumping below the left part of the broken balcony, Kratos eventually pushes right through it.
One use that comes to mind immediately is in the Athens Square. Is that too early in the game to achieve the required upgrades? It seems you could either "highest jump" to the broken bridge or to the chests next to the bridge and simply jump to it and continue without ever seeing oracle. If its possible it would eliminate the need for the "longer jump" in the Square to achieve a major skip.
LOL Both examples end with Kratos falling into oblvion. Perhaps there is a spot where you can do the "Highest Jump" without being raped by unloaded/off-limits areas
It seems like thus far..all areas that they Higher Jump fails to reach pwn you for trying any harder. I'd like to see this succeed if only on one occassion.
There are seemingly some glitches with the BoA which causes the rage's animation to cut off unexpectedly, so this could be one option. But then your mana won't regenerate nearly as much, and you don't have Hermes Stomp with BoA, making it lose air versatility.

There's no way to start a new game with the weapons/magic you acquired in the previous game.
Don't mistake regen magic (glitch) with infinite magic (dairy bastard costume).

I probably gathered orbs by doing 1000 hit combos in the room where I have regenerating magic and minotaurs spawn in endless supply.

The bad part is that the poseidon's rage (at least on lv.3) takes so much time to run through it might not save time nor work to utilize.

That would be the air circle attack..it has a very slight thrust foward when used.
