  • I love watching your videos...but I LOVE listening to your terrific accent! As an older woman (53), whose daughter (21) is taking a makeup and special Effects Makeup course, I like to follow what is new out there and what is part of her new world. Thanks for taking the time to do these videos, I find them helpful and informative. Keep up the good work , Siobhan!

  • @mmuddbug Ahh thank you for your kind comment. Really appreciate it and you watching my videos:) Great mom for being so involved in your daughters passions! Lucky girl:) x

  • I use ultra fair because fair is too dark for me too, I am ultra fair shade 2 :)

  • @TheMakeupChair I wish I'd been sent the ultra fair. I told them I was basically the palest yellow shade in skin but this is what they sent me 0_o

  • @LetzMakeup They sent me the fair and the ultra fair luckily otherwise I would have been in trouble too! Are you coming to the guru meet up in Dublin? Lovely to see ya there!

  • @TheMakeupChair Yeah, good stuff! I only heard of the meet up last week, sounds great and would love to go but unfortunately stupid work has me bound here right up til Christmas. Sounds like it would be a bit of craic!

  • @LetzMakeup Aw thats a shame! Yeah hopefully it works out! :)

  • Love this! :)

  • @TheMakeupChair Thanks Sinéad! x

  • ...That is a nice looking kit....

....I haven't seen many eyeshadow tutorials...with airbrush system.....and the ones I have seen..were done with neutrals..I wanna see me some purples!..Hopefully they go on nicely...I especially liked the tone of the darker purple...

  • @MercedesGames I will attempt one sometime! Well as long as I am able to teach myself well enough!

  • I'm just as light as you, only I've a lot of pink in my skin. I'm in the US and it is really hard to find the right color here, as most brands have colors that are too light or too dark, its weird. maybe american brands just do that.

  • @Vincentsmom27 Annoying I bet!! I wish brands would sort that out!

  • I managed to watch all the video :). Great review. I might be getting some air brush kit soon and this is one of the options. However now I'm scared to order the medium foundations. I saw other people using the gun to do hair art too with some stencils. The options are endless I guess. XXX

  • @Mspurplemakeup Check out VintageorTacky's channel. She's doing a whole airbrush series at the moment! x

  • Can you put your own foundations in the machine?

  • @ansleecoutore Only airbrush foundations. Or very water-y ones. x

  • Great demo, those foundation colours are hideous tho! Would love to see you try the system with Kett foundation instead! Xx

  • @FateDelamorte Hopefully I'll be getting another system soon. x

  • to cover blemishes you can turn it on low and go in really close and spot conceal. I also agree with whoever said that a soft fan brush gets rid of the hairy face LOL

  • @MCmammajama Yeah, just tricky I suppose. x

  • You can mix the shades and you can also buy colour correctors.

I have the DINAIR BEAUTY COMPRESSOR III and it has a holder for the gun and has a very good adjustable airflow dial. None of this one or three speed nonsense! Alcohol based foundations are more for covering tattoos etc. I do prefer silicone based foundations though, Temptu s/b is my fave :) As for waterbased, the Dinair and OCC ones come in reeeeally fair colours, I'm fairer than you and one is too pale! Great, thorough review.

  • @MCmammajama Yeah, this one sounds good. Thanks!

  • Have you tried it with other airbrush foundations, like the Kett one?

  • @iluvenisp Not yet! x

  • Hi Shiv, thanks for the review. I've found the dinair airbrush system really good. Most of the complaints you mentioned are catered for. It's matte finish but can be glossed up with the addition of moist and dewy. The shade range is enormous and suits even my pale tone. The compressor includes a holder for the airbrush/stylus and they offer a 30% disc for makeup artist pro club membership. But even without that my package was just under 200usd. They also provide your choice of country adaptors

  • @sheppajo I may get to try the dinair one out soon hopefully! Sounds good. x

  • You actually look stunning without any make up on, I'm so jealous

  • @XxiloveGWxX Ara stop, :P Thanks. x

  • have you used any other airbrush systems? If so which would you reccomend?

  • @NREnger Not yet, but soon hopefully!

  • could you use any brand foundation with this?

  • @lovelylass77 As long as it's an airbrush foundation, for sure

  • its weird that they didnt include that lightest foundation shade in their fair package it would have made more sense

  • @vampiresiren2 Totally agree!

  • @LetzMakeup they must reckon that we all like to look like we have been tangoed they dont give us pale girls much love in the foundation department pity they dont make 2 shades equally as pale but one for pink toned and one for yellow toned

  • I think the no1 foundation would look nice on its own, the colour seems to match your neck perfectly. Alabaster skin looks lovely <3

  • @6dazey9 Yeah, I've been wearing the light one by itself lately and it's actually perfect once I add blush etc. x

  • Do you prefer waterbased or silicone based foundations? I use the Temptu silicone foundations and I really like them. I've had good success with using a soft fan brush to brush the foundation off the fuzz. IMO, all compressors should have airbrush stands. :D

  • @sokolum79 Silicone for lasting ability and withstanding my t-zone. Water based makeup just doesn't last on me as well. Tried the fan brush trick and it worked! great trick. x

  • @honeynigiri shaving doesn't make hair worse, thicker or darker, and laser hair removal doesn't work on light hair, so on the peach fuzz the skin would just be bleached.

  • Messy Gruaig haha! I love that!

  • @Cordi666 My gruaig's always messy, ha ha!

  • I have this but have hardly used it as it's such a lot of fuss to use plus the range of colours is limited.

  • @pobstrel Yeah, not impressed by the colours either really. Should be getting another system from a different company soon so will be good to compare!

  • I have a lot of fine downy peach fuzz on the sides of my face. Im in cosmetology school and makeup is a required part of our uniform. I shave my face because my skin is terribly dry and combine that with the fuzz and foundation looks crazy. Tried to wax it, skin was irritated so bad it broke out like acne. Just lock the bathroom door so nobody sees you shaving your cheeks! Lol

  • @2thebitterend you should save up and try a couple of laser hair removal treatments hun, you dont want to make the peach fuzz worse with shaving <3

  • @honeynigiri Actually it's a myth that shaving makes your hair grow thicker. You can only do that if you damage the hair follicle which shaving doesn't do.

If you're worried about facial hair then threading is really cheap!

  • @plabebob ...Have you ever shaved for a consistent period of time? Pulling the hair out traumatises the hair follicle, weakening it and making it so that, over time, less hair grows, though it will end up being quite patchy.

  • @2thebitterend Whatever you do, I would stop shaving. It will gradually make it worse. Have you tried using something like a springit?

  • @2thebitterend Yeah, despite what people think, I've learned that many many women shave and it's totally fine. Hair may seem a tad thicker growing back due to the blunt cut of the hair shaft but It's not actually thicker. And it's a great way of exfoliating too I bet!! x

  • You think they would have actually given a white foundation in the fair kit

so you can mix the pink and yellow under tones with it...

i like the idea of air brush But considering its awkward to even get our colors its a bit over priced xxx but thanks for sharing... xxx

  • @LittleKiva I know! Oh well. And it's a pain in the ass to clean too. Still like it though, wanted one for ages!

  • my gosh, those are OFF-OFF!!! :O

  • Love Irish Women, the accent has to be one of my favorites among European Women. Seeing as how I am half Irish, I really need to get there one of these days. Beautiful eyes as well. So much talent in Ireland.

  • @grimsdyke LoL:) Thanks!

  • I want one so bad,,but they are to expensive

  • @23guerita They are definitely an investment.

  • you look great! :D yay for freckles c:

  • Interesting. But seems like a lot of work.

But I guess for that special job it might be useful.

  • @SkreetGil Yeah, I think it's more about the finished result!

  • I'm still wondering in what universe those colors are 'fair' <.< Not in mine O.O

  • @ChelseyWa I know!!

  • I enjoyed the nice long demo actually! I've used airbrush products once and liked the results but I've been told that you can't touch the face after applying it because it rubs off, so when we were trying it in college we applied the eye makeup first. I know it's used a lot for bridal makeup but if it rubs off, is that not a bit silly and pointless?? Does it rub off though, how did you find it? Also I've heard Kett is a really good brand of airbrush makeup so they might be worth looking into? ;)

  • @Tigerlily86sk It doesn't rub off too easily when it dries and especially when you set it with powder. Definitely can't touch it when it's still wet though, totally ruins the coverage!

  • more doing less talking

  • @h3avenonearth2 She's trying to explain everything so people can get the best information..

  • @h3avenonearth2 She said it was a full review and demo, so if you don't like the sound of the title (assuming you even read it), don't bother watching the video. Most people will appreciate the time she took to film this video, so don't be a smart arse, it's not big and it's definitely not clever. Nobody will miss you if you go, bye bye now...

  • @h3avenonearth2 Did you not read the title first??

  • It looks so natural and nice! I want one so bad!

  • @AmyFley It is natural looking for sure!! x

  • Lol. Bubbles:3

  • love this demo!

  • @EmilyNeonRose Thank you:)

  • first!
