where do i get these songs for the game? i got the old MIDI and i thought i had a messed up game because this is the music i grew up playing not the midi. can someone email me the music files? tomp.dagostino@gmail.com PLEASEE
@CitizenBrown You pronounced my name wrong. And your pun was lame; it took me like 10 seconds to understand it.
Guess what? Both TLR and LRO are on my fansite, loderunnerforever.co.nr. Download TLR if you're for some reason STILL convinced that what you uploaded is from TLR.
@CitizenBrown Cool. Now I think you're just embarrassed that you were WRONG and yet called me stupid, so you're trying to distract me. :P Believe it or not, I have a sense of humor, but you're just acting like an idiot.
Thanks for the upload, great to hear this music again after so many years. I looked this song up after being reminded of the percussion by the Fever Ray song "Triangle Walks": watch?v=3VJvZ0hXwAk
where can i find this game? i will buy it if some stores sold it, but no one sells it and I don't want to play a remake of it, there just not the same like the original one.Anyone know where i can find it for Windows?
Hey, let's get the moderator to erase my comments here! I just remembered now that you're right: I actually haven't seen this for the Amiga, either. It actually came on a sample disc that came with my parents' color MACINTOSH! It was when they upgraded to that in '96 from their old B/W Mac from '88 (but of course they've upgraded way past that '96 computer now, although their new computers are Windows machines like the one I'm typing on).
Heh, you should've corrected me even more than you did, saying something stronger like, "You might want to double-check which computer you were playing that on, because I really don't think they made that for the Amiga." Heh, I feel like an idiot now for getting mixed up and thinking that was for the Amiga when it's really for the Macintosh. :-S But what computer is THIS version for?
Well, thanks. I appreciate your care to not hurt me. But to be completely honest, I would have appreciated someone nudging me in the side a bit and saying that I ought to double-check my computers and what's where, and then I would've said, "Oh yeah, heheh, you're right! Whow, how did I mix that up before?"
Well, thanks anyway, though. I understand that you meant well. :)
This is the default music for this version of the game. How they get the music into the game during development could be different from game to game and OS to OS. But my guess is that they could have designed the music on a MIDI system and then let the game program just play the file, OR maybe they could embed the file into the program itself, OR maybe they could actually do it the long hard way and just code the voices and notes directly in the programming. I don't know about this specifically.

This is not from Lode Runner: The Legend Returns! It's from Lode Runner Online: The Mad Monks' Revenge. HUGE difference.

Mine's on the Commodore Amiga. Which computer is this version from (which sounds mostly the same as mine, but I notice subtle differences)?
MaxxFordham 3 years ago
This game was released for the Amiga?
sammymarlo 3 years ago
Uhhhh... well, yes, uhhh... I believe that's why I said that "mine's on the Commodore Amiga." Your guess?
MaxxFordham 3 years ago
Where did you get it? I don't think that this was released for the Amiga. Can you prove me wrong? :-)
sammymarlo 3 years ago
No, I can't PROVE you wrong. All I can say is that I have the disk with that game on it, and it works on the Amiga.
MaxxFordham 3 years ago
Oh, I was WRONG! See my MACINTOSH comment below! :-O
MaxxFordham 3 years ago
Oh, and where I got it: copied from a friend who already had Amiga stuff a good while before I did.

How do you get these songs into the actual game? And is there a version that actually has these songs as default? Someone clear this up for me.
MashMaker 3 years ago
This is the default music for this version of the game. How they get the music into the game during development could be different from game to game and OS to OS.
