Any attempt to discuss or publish any kind of statement espousing democracy will be severely punished.There is no right to organize any kind of party because the communist government has the sole and exclusive right to dictate what is right for everyone, rightly or wrongly. If you want to practice a religion, it has to be an approved religion. The reason Vietnam keeps a large army in time of peace is to protect their illegitimate government.

I grew up there and I love it, Hot as fuck though, no air conditioning and lots of freaking mosquitoes. But food is good, and lots of memories you can't forget, and Ho Chi Minh was impose on us to make us to think he is a good guy but now I realize he is a piece of shit. You speak out against the government, you go to jail. Any attempt to discuss or publish any kind of statement espousing democracy will be severely punished.There is no right to organize any kind of party because the communist government has the sole and exclusive right to dictate what is right for everyone, rightly or wrongly. If you want to practice a religion, it has to be an approved religion. The reason Vietnam keeps a large army in time of peace is to protect their illegitimate government.

I have no doubt HCM was a nationalist but the way he did was out of personal gain rather. Now that we got the good down lets start with the bad. He betrayed his long time friend and fellow nationalist who are fighting for the freedom of Vietnam from the French, Phan Boi Chau. I cannot think of any revolutionaries in any third world country since the 1900 had not committed the same "sin" as you claimed Ho did. I am not one bit surprised if he did what you claimed.
However, I do not see Ho riding in limousine, living in a palace, throwing lavish party for his family as his counterpart in the south did. The man was not even married. So, I do not consider your claim of his "personal gain" to be valid.
