This video makes it very clear that the Lins e Silva family knew exactly what they were doing then they denied David Goldman access to his child, Sean: not only preventing contact but returning letters and presents.
That this family remain ´respectable´ within Brazilian social and legal circles is testament to what passes for respectable in that country.
David is alienated from Sean by his own choice. He chose not to pursue visitation in Rio in to benefit his hague case. He should visit Sean at Christmas. He is in Brazil now, has he even gone to see Sean?
David is alienated from his son because his son was kidnapped by criminals who should be in jail. I think the Brazilian legal system would have forced Elizabeth Smart to stay with the nut-job scum-bags who kidnapped her ... because she had been with them for so long. That is the excuse they have used in this case.

@anac1212iflo: The Bianchi family would only let David see Sean if he signed away parental rights. Obviously, he wouldn't do that. And yes, David has seen Sean this year, after getting visitation through the courts; the first time he got a court-ordered visit, Lins e Silva attempted to get a delay, and then when he couldn't, he took Sean to another city instead of having him home to meet David - David made a 10-hour trip to stand outside the apartment. David is still unable to see Sean alone.
David was never alienated from Sean by choice. NEVER. Mom , Grandma, Lins silva are responsible for severing all ties, they refused phone calls, letters presents. They thought he would go away, The Brazillian courts have stated that Sean was ABDUCTED AND WAS SUFFERING FROM PARENTAL ALIENATION. Shame on them , I have pity on them. The day his mother died he should have been returned to his biological father.
This is mind-boggling. How recent is this? How on earth is this man allowing his own son to behave in this way while he stands hypocritically on stage talking about the dangers of alienating a parent and harm it does to the child/ren?

I totally agree; Lins and Silva is specialised in this area and they knew exactly what they were doing.

This is foolishness. Sean does NOT belong to E Silva, he BELONGS to his FATHER! He WILL get custody of his son, rest assured.
Children BELONG to their PARENTS! Since Sean's mother is dead, SEAN should go BACK to his father.
