this app is actually really good. i work in a restaurant so one night my kitchen manager was bored and showing off the app, we were scanning liquor and alcohol lol, and it actually was pretty fun and accurate

I think you'll find he is accessing the web through his home net work and not 3G. The icon at the top of the screen is showing the network logo.
