  • I am wondering where you are from since we have the same last name :)

  • Thanks for this video!

Does anyone have a trick for minimizing holes behind cables? I use a smaller needle ( two sizes) only for the row below, then switch back to the larger ones to make the cable rows. It helps but the hole is still there.

  • THANKYOU. I loved this.

  • Were your heel flap stitches slipped? Usually, I see/hear to pick up the loops of the 'v' stitches...You are -- I think -- saying to pick up the bar between the stitches?? They were knit stitches then and Not slipped stitches?

And at the join area you said the stitches which close the hole are actually purl stitches? How'd they get there?! ;^)

Thanks for further clarification. I really need to close those holes! So far, no method I've tried has worked so well as yours looks!

  • Great video....Easy to follow along with you...No more gusset holes for this gal!

  • Charlene Schurch may be a genius BUT you are an angel for posting this video! Very well done!! Thank you so much! I can not wait to try that method-- Again, thanks so much!

  • I wish it had been with a lighter colored yarn. But Thanks so much for the excellent guide. Much easier than my old fashion way.
